my maybe controversial therian opinion is that i have never been able to figure out why we prioritize human life over animals. i think it's just an anthropocentrism thing. there's like... no real reason for it. i also think it's because i'm autistic and my sense of empathy is a little ...warped? but i still don't get it lol

oh uh uh i try my best!!!

so pet regression is regression to the mindset of an animal/pet, usually this is a trauma response but it can also be done for fun. it can be done voluntarily or not

there’s also age regression, which i do less often. same thing but you go to a young mindset

so for me i regress into the mindset of a sheep! this is fun and makes me happy and helps me cope! it’s a recommended coping mechanism by therapists and isn’t harmful ^^

i would suggest doing more research on blogs by older and more knowledgeable folks bc i may have not explained it very well 😓
