pet peeve: when the fictional character who’s into sewing/embroidery doesn’t use a needle threader…

Been awhile since I posted art.

Here’s my character Stormy.

At this point I see a very clear way for the humans to win. If Scott goes through successfully with killing Owen and Pyro, well… Owen didn’t turn anybody, but with Pyro’s death both Shelby and Cleo could be cured. And the thing is, Scott also has beef with Apo, if he decided to kill her too, assuming success, then Sausage could also be cured.

Which just leaves Scott and Drift. And the humans already really want to kill Scott. He would probably get weakened from killing other vampires. So if Scott was then killed, Drift could be cured.

There would be four vampires, all who could be cured. I think after so much death and losing their vampire family, I think both Shelby and Drift would agree even if they had enjoyed being vampires beforehand.

Cleo intends to survive. She would see the writing on the wall and agree to be turned. And while I think Sausage would have wanted to be a vampire for longer, if every other vampire was dead or agreed to be cured then I think he would too.

This is all assuming that nobody else gets turned. If Scott, Owen, Pyro, or Apo turn somebody else then what I wrote is still as true. But if Cleo, Drift, Sausage, or Shelby turned somebody else that might be a problem. Guess they could try to test if that Chandelier Theory of the cure works.

Came up with this idea when I was making a post about aus where everybody but Avid is supernatural.

The idea here is that Oakhurst is a small town of vampires and that all the characters have been living there for some, all but one of them anyway. The thing though is that I think writing variations with different characters as the human would be fun. So it’s less one au and more a bunch of variations of an au.

The vibes are very cult-y.

I’ll make a 2nd post later about what happens in the different variations. I’ve got ideas for most of the characters. One of my favorites is my idea for Pyro.

World Building:

• Oakhurst doesn’t have a barrier in this, if there every was one, it was gotten rid of long ago.
• Scott is still the oldest vampire unless he’s the human in the au variation.
• The vampires mostly live off cows, sheep, and chickens. They sell the bi-products (leather, wool, and feathers) to other nearby towns.
• Oakhurst has a mysterious reputation in the area. A lot of people go missing in the woods. It’s said to be wolves (it isn’t)
• Oakhurst does get visitors. Usually merchants or travelers. Visitors usually don’t stay long cause the town has bad vibes.
• They have traditions that are seen as unusual by the nearby towns.
• The nearby towns have an unusually high rate of people going missing.
• Most of the vampires are stage 1 or 2, they still interact with humans so they still got to pass. Scott is totally stage 3 though.
• Owen’s massacre still happened. Scott woke up early but still after the massacre. He dug Owen out from the ground, and started building their town/coven from there.

It’s Avid-centric

Chapter features Avid’s backstory in my modern college au along with what he was doing during the events of the 1st chapter. This includes Avid having a run-in with Owen.

You know those everybody is supernatural but Avid aus?

What if that… but everybody is a vampire specifically.

Like imagine everybody rolls up into town and they are all vampires except for Avid (but maybe he could be recently turned). And Avid trying to warn everybody about vampires, not knowing that that ship has already sailed. I think it would be pretty funny!

Everybody treating him like he’s crazy because they don’t want to get caught.

I could also see Shelby not being a vampire either, otherwise she’s probably tell people. But she’s still focused on werewolves.

Or imagine rolling up into a town with a community of vampires already living there, and Avid is doing his whole “watch out for vampires” thing and the whole town decides to mess with him for the shits and giggles.

Been seeing people play around with the idea of vampire instincts and I love it. One thing I haven’t seen that much of though, with that idea, is a human pov of those instincts.

Like I think it would be fun to see someone write about what the humans might make of the more inhuman ways the vampires might act. Especially because of how that might effect their idea of that person truly being the same person or not. The whole “I’m still me, I just happen to be a vampire now” thing. Cause I could see a human having a hard time accepting that it’s still them, if they are acting in ways that might confuse and disturb them.

Also even further the idea of a human that might have been unnerved by seeing vampires act on instincts that then later get turned themself and get the same instincts that they had found disturbing. And they then have to deal with it.

This is mostly relevant for a Vampires win ending where no human perma-dies

The idea is that the last human left in cannon would instead be the oldest starting vamp in this au. And the 2nd to last human would be the other starting vamp. And it just goes in reverse turn order.

So the last human would be Scott in this au.

Anyway can’t do to much with the idea right now because the series would need to be over to really work on it.

Something is changing some of the students into vampires
That something is an ancient vampire named Scott

Basically the plot (sort of) of Vampire smp but it takes place in a modern college in a city instead the ruins of some rural town in the late 1800’s

For this first chapter: The Halloween Party

Pyro goes to a Halloween party
Apo stays in the dorm
Scott chooses his first fledgling in 600 years

Warnings for:
-Manipulation
-Drinking Alcohol
-Sexual Tension
-Implied Drugging (it doesn’t actually happen)

I want to try to finish it for tomorrow for filler episode day. Also sort of doing the Halloween party prompt as well. But I plan to write more of this au in the future so it’s not all going to be during Halloween.

I personally think they are but the question is, in what way? I’ve seen different takes so I wanted to make a poll.

More for my Vampires in College au. A basic rundown of my au.

This au is basically a modern college au but it keeps the supernatural elements of cannon. Including who the starting vamps are.

Something to keep in mind is that I don’t touch fraternity/sorority stuff because I went to small college that didn’t have that stuff. Thus I have very little knowledge about it.

For the human characters I have less ideas for what I want to do with them.
