These are primarily ones for Ghazzan families although some fundraisers for Sudanese families are also listed (I'm more familiar with my own country's politics and dialect and am more capable of vetting fundraisers for Palestinians as a result).

I know that people do not like clicking on links, but please actually look through the posts / Google Sheet and choose a fundraiser to donate to. Please.

Finally after a month of working on it, its finished.

Pretty happy how this turns out! i legit cant believe i finished it. I started this animation when i was still doing my internship PLUS working on my intern report for college, so obviously at the time when i found this song and have ideas for it, i didnt think i'll commit to finishing it, it was just a bunch of doodles i made after a day of work. Few days later i thought: "yknow what, lets just make a quick animatic. that would satisfy me enough" well uh- turns out it didnt. and here i am- thankfully after i finish my intern and my report i have way more time to work on it so yeee!! Here are the early doodle ideas, i kinda wanna show my animatic and rough animation too but tumblr only allow 1 video so eh- oh well, maybe i post it seperately idk

People are jumping way too quickly to "that hysterical black bitch just made it all up" for my liking and all based on one article that claims the letter was fake. I dont like this one bit.

The we should be critical of where we get our sources and not spread misinformation leaving your average tumblr user's body right as soon as a single article tells them a trans woman of color is actually a lying bitch who shouldnt be trusted.

I admit, the source being passed around looked legit enough at first glance.

But then I realized I was being reactionary, and took a second look:

I genuinely don't believe the article is trustworthy, after taking a full look with a clear head.

I will not take accusations against trans women at face value.

Also no one should treat an article as credible at all when it takes a break in the middle to go "Oh also she is friends with another tranny who had a callout post made about how shes a rapist, and also here is a link to a 40 note post on a transandrophobia blog about how she probably scammed probably scammed people out of money and just spent the money on door dash."

Like, this article IS in fact just a callout post, and I have already started blocking anyone who puts it on my dash. Zero tolerance for callouts doesn't change just cause you got tricked into believing the callout post was actually a news article. It is STILL a harassment campaign targeting a black transfem, no matter how you look at it.

Why doesn't the world understand this reality? Why is everyone ignoring what's happening in Gaza? Why are you letting us die while you watch? As you can see, they started in Gaza, then Venezuela, and who knows who will come next? America and Israel are the ones destroying the world and killing innocent people.

I enjoy when people give me a hard time about using the term "sequential art" because they think it's just a pretentious way of saying "comics", because when I point out that "comics" and "sequential art" are overlapping but non-identical mediums, they invariably demand an example of sequential art that isn't comics, and I get to hit them with "PowerPoint presentations".

It's a little telling how many of the tgirl stalker mob reference "not like us." While it's rarely helpful to psychoanalyse your class enemies, I think it does reveal that this specific grouping does, in addition to having a class interest in upholding and expanding transmisogyny, have a very deep psychological hole they're trying to fill. They want to be Kendrick so bad, they want to be the cool guy exposing the dangerous predators, except, they're just not Kendrick. They're not bringing attention to the long predatory past of a very rich and by most accounts "successful" adult man, they're just stalking random trans women and girls on tumblr with little or no institutional power at all. You don't look like the epic guy making the sick diss track, you just look like a creepy stalker, which is all you are.

this website is terribly nonblack so even to racialized nonblack people the beating Kendrick gave Drake is simply a high-profile callout post, a moral crusadere to excise the Pedophilic Other from a community via 'awareness-spreading. rather than what it was (the conclusion of a highly personal beef that has been ongoing since the beginning of Kendrick's career that is mostly over the audiences Drake tried to sell his rap to). to them, what Kendrick is doing is indistinguishable to their Twitter-crusades because the concept of a 'rap beef' is alien

Kendrick and Drake aren't financially and socailly even highly-successful millionaires engaged in a fight over their relative approaches to selling their art and Drake isn't a high-profile misogynist with a history of using his money to perform misogynist sexual violence he's a Secret Pedophile and that's partially the fault of their desire to see themselves in Kendrick and partially because Kendrick leaned on a lot of fairly reactionary ideas abotu Pedophilia, femininity and Sexual Deviance becaue the kendrick versus drake beef was not a righteous crusade it was Kendrick taking down someone he saw as an enemy of rap by any means necessary and has very little to do with Tumblr Harassment Callouts
