no! good question! honestly I don’t go to half as much local stuff as I’d like to either, but my advice if you find an event that looks interesting is that bringing a friend along makes it a lot easier :) also, I meet a lot more freaks at punk shows and zine fests than I do at sanctioned kink events tbh. flagging and wearing my gear out and about makes for a good icebreaker. anyways, hope some part of this is useful! good luck! <3
