So I was watching celebrity jeopardy and one of the questions gave me an idea for a theory for Ateez.
Okay so you know how with the Ice on my Teeth mv their seating arrangement at the end shows them as chess pieces.
Yunho and Mingi are rooks
San and Jongho are knights
Yeosang and Wooyoung are the bishops
Hongjoong is the king
Seonghwa is the queen
Well, there was a question on jeopardy that involved a move in chess where the queen and the bishop, diagonally moving pieces, are able to bounce off the edges of the board and continue on their path bent by 90 degrees. And what is this move called?
The bouncy.
And in the bouncy mv we see Seonghwa, the queen, and Yeosang, one of the bishops, are together on their mission. We do see them going off on their motorbikes in a straight line and then, particularly Yeosang, stops and turns his bike 90 degrees.
I also realized that their ending formation is almost identical to their ending formation in Bouncy. The only exception being Seonghwa is after Yunho instead of being next to Hongjoong. But if they are chess pieces and Seonghwa is the queen then, as Ava Max says, queens are free to go wherever they like.
Maybe I'm reading too much into this and it's nothing at all but still it's just so much fun to speculate. Also, what a coincidence!
