I have made up my mind to proceed as though Harry did leak the album himself.

The reasons I think it was Harry:

it’s a way of taking ownership of his own work

the number of people who would have access to the specific combination of songs that came out is very small. The number willing and able to leak the album is even smaller.

the previously leaked 1d harry demo Half The World Away relates closely to boyfriends, and the new leaks appear to help contextualize harry’s sound and lyrics on this album.

Harry specifically mentioned thinking back on 1D days as inspiration for the album and we got 1D demos w/ the album leak

the metadata included the correct tracklisting, something Harry would care about

You Are Home uses all lowercase to tweet. the leak uses all lowercase for the song titles. Meanwhile everywhere else (merch, album booklet) they’re using mixed case. All this contrasts with the all caps era of Fine Line.

Not as far as I’m aware. People were asking that quite a lot when it first got leaked, but I don’t think anyone was able to track down where it actually came from.

On another note, to everyone who’s been waiting to listen to Harry’s House until it comes out:

I’d reconsider that.

They gave us the album so we could listen to it before they shell out the narrative storyline for a reason. You can listen to the songs and understand them for yourself without having their het stunt propaganda being used to sell songs. Do yourself a favor and listen now, because they will align this album with how “settled with Olivia” Harry is. And Olivia will align herself and insert herself any opportunity she gets.

They know that many fans would have been hurt by their marketing narrative, and would have left. Essentially half his fans. So they gave it to us so we could experience the songs without the fake marketing. That way they keep us, and keep their money. It’s smart, they know their fanbase very well.

The industry is evil, we know that.

People need to do whatever they feel like they should be doing, anon! I think it’s really nice that you don’t want to spoil until the actual release to live the full experience, I’ve seen a few people on tumblr with the exact same thought. And that’s great. Personally, I don’t feel that way and I don’t want people annoying me about a leak that was clearly planned, you know? The leak was part of the marketing plan, it’s not disrespectful, this will not warm his sales and streamings, probably like 90% of the people to heard the album already are the ones streaming him non stop and buying all his songs/merch. Like I said in a previous post, people really have a fake “respectful” discourse nowadays without even understanding the situation. It’s very annoying.

I’m not 100% on Harry’s own team leaking the album but I am, like, mid-80’s % at least.

And it feels sort of like Harry doing small shows before going on to perform in stadiums. Because the people who care enough to know about the leak are the ones who would want to listen, want to spend that time carrying around a little open secret, just us and him. I know he’s like, one of the biggest pop stars in the world right now but none of the casual Harry Styles fans I know irl know a fucking thing about this leak. He pushed us all into a little venue and gave us the album listening party by way of sketchy Google drives before he’s giving it to everyone else.

I only know two Johnnys associated with Harry:

Johnny McDaid (from Snow Patrol) who has been friends with Harry since around 2013, Johnny was mentioned A LOT when the hiatus happened (google both their names and you’re going to find a lot of articles from 2015/2016 about Harry finally taking off his with solo career). But they were writing songs together since way back during 1D days. All songs they wrote together though are unreleased EXCEPT - guess what - Already Home. A One Direction song leaked yesterday with HSH.

And since we’re talking about coincidences: “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol was Louis’ outro song in Zurich last week. Louis is also headlining Lokerse Feesten which Snow Patrol is also playing.

Jonny Harvey (Harry’s childhood best friend). They’re friends since they were toddlers and Harry used to bring him on tour a lot during the One Direction’s early days.

Here’s them at Louis’ birthday party in 2012 (the one Harry went super extra and organised the party 10 days early because they wouldn’t be together on christmas/new years because of all that Haylor bullshit):

Hi pumpkin. I already answered this a few minutes ago, but I think people on Twitter are being ridiculous. We didn’t have a single leak from HS1 or Fine Line (or Walls). Do they really think an entire album, plus unreleased songs from HS1 and 1D, could have hit and it was just allowed to be there for hours before the links started disappearing? And would Sony corporate really have tweeted about it (drawing even more attention to it) in such a lighthearted way if it was an actual leak?

And how does this actually hurt Harry? It creates more work of mouth and more hype for when the album drops. People will want to know if the leak was the actual album, are any of the suns different, etc etc. It will likely increase streaming and sales.

If you’re interested, listen to it. If you’re actually concerned about Harry’s sales/streaming, then don’t share it with anyone else (although, as I said, I don’t think it matters one but). As usual, people on Twitter are dogpiling on a bullying campaign without even understanding what they’re bullying people about.

I tried to do that, I’m not sure if it worked??? Seems random. I was listening to the album on the order of that first tracklist that was leaked last week
