Two reapers of the Swedish underground in Elias Landberg of Skudge and Nihad Tule (NTTA11) unite as Taken for a debut release on Skudge’s own self-titled imprint. Recorded and mastered in just one day, the Terrorfish EP is an exercise in enveloping techno split into two dynamic halves. On the A-side, the title cut draws blood with its tinnitus inducing, acidic stabs backed by a throbbing 909 thud and some misty interference whilst on the other side ‘Halcyon’ draws us deep inside with spongier chords and bristled hi-hats offering a dubbier, more anesthetised feel.
