Similar to Convulsing's previous album, another interesting yet intriguing blackened dissonant death metal album... with progressive elements as well. Would recommend to those who are wanting more from the dissodeath genre for sure. terrariancloud

Admittedly Ulcerate's music projects a very specific flavour - and omits countless others - focusing on perfecting the marrow of their dramaturgical message towards humanity... Nonetheless, in my opinion: Cutting the Throat of God should be thoroughly studied by future Music & Art Historians, and let's not exaggerate by comparing or analyzing - however - I believe that some of you can instinctively sense it.. Ulcerate have reached an unforeseen peak.. haven't they? Jesus Popcornius

I usually listen to metal with at least alot of high vocals but this was a dead drop beautiful introduction to only lows/gutturals especially. 70eulogy06
