See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

I just overheard people talking about the meta glasses to have an ai function where it predicts what you’re going to say and supplies words when you can find the exact one you want and that just seems so. dystopian

like why would you want an ai to tell you what to say all the time?? it’s bad enough that it’s in every app and on every page and people are using it to write speeches and stories and they’re telling kids to use it in schools but genuinely why would anyone want that? it already has enough influence over the way people write, so why would you want it to tell you what to say and what to think and to dictate your lines to you

sorry just the thought sounded horrifying and people were actively wanting that that's just concerning that some people are more than okay with generative ai doing shit like that that they're actively trying to integrate it into their lives to remove human thought and error like do you not understand that if you use this you'll only get worse at remembering words in the future because you'll never have any practice thinking for yourself fuck ai anti ai i hate ai ai

tbh I really just don't see Visi choosing to go to the warehouse as her being a bad person or making a bad decision as much as it's an impulsive one. like, yes, she was explicitly told not to go, it makes sense that she would face consequences at work for it, and yes, it was predictably a DUMB decision because, like everyone pointed out, she wasn't prepared.

but like Robert even says (with certain choices) -- she had no idea that Chase would ever risk her life for her and she was TRYING to get the pulse back for Robert -- partially probably to abate her own guilt, but also probably because she nearly watched him blow himself up again without it.

going alone was an impulsive, foolish choice but one where she thought the only person she was risking was herself, until Chase made the choice to put himself on the line to save her -- the exact thing he talked about doing as a hero all the time
