My name is Shada Kassab, and I am a 24-year-old mother living in Gaza. Every day is a fight for survival for me, my husband Hussein, and our baby boy Adam, who is just five months old.
Our lives have been turned upside down by war. My home has been reduced to rubble, and my husband lost his water truck, which was our only source of income. We’ve been forced to evacuate twice—from Deir el Balah to the Nuseirat camp—and now, we live in constant fear of what the future holds.
To make matters worse, Adam was born with clubfoot and urgently needs surgery. The cost for his treatment and specialized medical boots is at least $3000, but this surgery isn’t even possible in Gaza.
I recently graduated as a nurse, and I dream of building a better life for my family. But to do that, we must leave Gaza and start over in safety.

We have spoken about baby Ayla here many times. Unfortunately, she continues to suffer. Somehow Ayla incurred a small injury to her finger and it became severely infected due to the sanitation crisis. Your support helped her mother be able to pay for her treatment, but her immune system is still compromised due to malnutrition. Now there is a major storm moving towards Gaza, threatening lethal cold and chilling rain. Her mother needs funds for blankets and for fuel for a small portable stove which they are using to heat their living space. Multiple children have now died from hypothermia this year in Gaza—please help Ayla avoid the same fate!!

I work in film and I live paycheck to paycheck. So I have no safety net for when emergencies come my way. Recently, I started having problems with my car's radiator, on top of all the other problems that I've neglected because I can't afford repairs.
Working in film in Los Angeles means I don't get work unless I have a reliable form of transportation. My car's starting to become less safe to drive with the problems that I'm accumulating.

Hi! Croutons has a UTI + they found more crystals in his bladder. His diet was less than 5% anything but his urinary food but hes special (sarcasm) and can no longer have anything but lest he have more complications.
