Dash is a Python framework for building beautiful analytical web applications without any JavaScript. Wooey is a simple web interface to run command line Python scripts. Think of it as an easy way to get your scripts up on the web for routine data analysis, file processing, or anything else. The project was inspired by how simply and powerfully sandman could expose users to a database and by how Gooey turns ArgumentParser-based command-line scripts into WxWidgets GUIs. Originally two separate projects (Django-based djangui by Chris Mitchell and Flask-based Wooey by Martin Fitzpatrick) it has been merged to combine our efforts. Enable the easy wrapping of any program in simple python instead of having to use language specific to existing tools such as Galaxy. Enable fellow lab members with no command line experience to utilize python scripts. Autodocument workflows for data analysis (simple model saving).

Firmata is a generic protocol for communicating with microcontrollers from software on a host computer. It is intended to work with any host computer software package. There are implementations for multiple microcontrollers and host software packages.

ACDK - Artefaktur Component Development Kit - is a platform independent C++-framework similar to Java or C#/.NET for generating distributed and scriptable components and applications.

InterPython (stands Python InterOperability) is a .NET library that allows a python interpreter to be "embedded" in your .NET programs, and gives you (almost) transparent access to python libraries and services in .NET programs. Great for GUIs, etc.

You assemble *blocks* in your django template, with each block wired to a tastypie resource, which in turn is mapped to a django model. Each *block* will reside in a dijit ContentPane which you must define in your template. You have a choice of 2 layouts for each *block*, Form or Grid based. Form displays a single record in either a 1, 2 or 3 column layout while Grid displays many rows in a spreadsheet like grid. You can perform edits in place on fields in both layouts. You can define the master-detail relationship between the *blocks* and enblok will automatically display the related detail *block* rows as the user navigates the master *block*'s rows. You get for free the default *CRUD* functionality for each block, together with Search. You are not limited to just a 2 level master-detail relationship, in fact enblok can support n-th level relationships but we do not advise you to go beyond 3. Pyjamas-Desktop is the Desktop version of the Pyjamas Web Widget toolkit. Pyjamas-Desktop can even execute javascript, and embed plugins such as Flash. Pyjamas-Desktop is now part of http://pyjs.org

yuik is an abstract widget library for creating GUIs. The actual frontend can be chosen at runtime which allows the program to run under Tk, as a shell program, and even as a web-application. More frontends like an irc-bot, wxWidgets, or XUL are planned.
