Joining a server or forum or something and being the only person online. Logging on in the morning to read all these conversations that happened while you slept, they're daily refreshes, not live events. You'll basically never be a part of them, you don't even bother in the first place.
Logging onto tumblr and your friends are joking with eachother and posting and getting nuked and remade, all chunks of a day ago. Everyone's playing without you, and you read about it in the morning.

All your friends are so very far away, and they only come out when you're sleeping.
Everyone's playing without you. And you'll read about it in the morning.
