I always hated when I saw a headcanon post in the past headcanoning Remus as any kind of bigot. Like, no, stop. Remus would not be a bigot. he would be one of those people who are woke to an annoying degree. He literally says in his theme song that you don't need to feel ashamed with him because he won't judge you. Also, not to mention the caption of the one photoshoot Thomas did for him for his birthday where he literally said that Remus would "be bringing the kink to pride". Why would you think that he's a bigot???? It literally makes zero sense and was so fucking stupid </3

I FINALLY GOT TO WATCHING VAMPIRES EP 6 AND OMG

So I’ve watched 2 of the 4 povs I’ve watched so far, Abolish and Pearl (the humans) and oh my goodness.

First off Abolish my king absolute nonchalant guy who would never do anything bad…no no no he is not planning to kill any vampires possibly in ep 7 your crazy…

He is simply doing his best and I need everyone to realize how locked in he is. Also the fact that he just knows who is and isn’t a vampire. It’s simply beautiful.

Also yes king pop off hide that last piece of the cure everyone wants to save your friends because no one listens to you let’s gooooo!

Then Pearl! The joy one feels when there POVs work together is truly magical. Love Pearl and abolish working together I need more.

ALSO HER PARENTS ARE WEREWOLVES AND SHE TRIED DRINKING WEREWOLF BLOOD AGDJAGSABDKSIBFKDI

Ahem…also loved how she just kept dying. She seems intimidating and like a big and scary wolf but she also a wet cat from time to time.

The 6 humans left are simply one of the greatest groups I’ve ever seen I need to see so much content of them you don’t understand. They are so compelling, even if one of them turns I feel like they’ll all still stick together because there all that’s left.

There the only hope to save there friends and leave oakhurst.

Final thoughts:

- Pearl should gain werewolf abilities

- Abolish should get a gun

- Humans should win (just the six of them saving there friends)

- And more firelocke content!

Can’t wait for next episode and now I’m off to watch my last two povs Shubble and Avid (the vampires…)

I think one of the reason why coven makes me ill is that I REALLY REALLY want the found family to be real but this just... isn't that type of story.

Scott doesn't care about Pyro beyond what Pyro can do for him, if he did he would've talked with and offered assistance to Pyro before Pyro spent the entire session stumbling around starving and in fear. He likes Shellby "as a pet" and the only reason he doesn't bother gaslighting Owen is the fact that Owen is already on his side (and also Scott doesn't have any hooks in that guy)

For a bit I figured that that's the only way this story could go, the sessions aren't long enough for Scott to have slow boiled people into accepting vampirism willingly, but honestly I think he could still have turned people unconsensually but with more... forgivable motivation? (eg. pure hunger for Pyro, not wanting to loose Shellby's friendship etc.) Esp if he shown regret for not asking for permission first. But he doesn't, because he doesn't actually care about people's choices. Everytime a flegling brings up the fact that their turning was not by choice he paves over it.

The brood is not gonna hold.

Vampires Smp has soo much "Both sides are morally bad" from the guys on the obviously morally worse side who don't care that they're doing horrible evil things but nonetheless know an appeal to morality will unsettle the other side which actually cares about people.

No no I'm fine I'm just thinking about the fact that the humans were winning. They were starving the vampires out, chipping away at their levels little by little to the point where there were only 4 of them left and 3 were able to be staked. If the finale had played out in the way that was expected the humans were going to win. It would have left only vampires who were more or less on the side of Oakhurst (Cleo, Apo, and Legs) who would all able to be cured at that point. The only questions are if Shelby and/or Drift would have taken the cure as a last resort (Scott is 100% dead in any other timeline, sorry) and if Apo and Sausage both survived to the final confrontation and forced the humans to decide which of them to save.

The humans would have won, and that is the ONLY reason we got the ending we did. The coven never would have done that plan if it wasn't their only option. Scott knew it was his only way to make it out alive and the others knew it was their only way to make it out as vampires.

We got this ending because the humans were winning and yet only one of them made it out.

In terms of pure numbers this was a vampire win, but perhaps you could say it was a win for humanity? Humans and vampires working together? The least amount of cruelty? The least amount of death? Or is it really because in the best-case-scenario human win only two vampires would have to die for the rest to all be curable. (Scott and Apo/Sausage)

Three deaths: one self-sacrifice, one accident, one killing, two people who never wanted to be vampires forced to live with it forever.

Or two deaths: one killing, one impossible choice, two people forced to take the cure against their will just to survive.

Which is truly the better option?

Which is truly the "good ending"?

Maybe there never was a good ending, maybe there was only ever going to be whichever ending we got and we would all find a way to be happy with it. Maybe we all crave a happily ever after, even if it means ignoring all the suffering that came one page before.

Such a bittersweet ending. Owen, Pyro, and Avid could have all enjoyed the peace that came at the end of VSMP, but they didn't. Both for individual reasons, but largely because Owen himself couldn't have possibly allowed it.

It's no coincidence that basically the moment Owen died, the vibe of Oakhurst shifted. Suddenly, peaceful negotiations were possible. That vengeful spirit of his that choked everything and everyone around him was finally put to rest.
