omg i bought pre-cut mint at the store for nye and put it in small vases in the hopes it would help it last longer?? then fully forgot about it for two weeks & just remembered (bc i was making spring rolls and thought ‘ohh i wish i had fresh mint’) and some of it had gone bad (crispy) </3 was about to salvage the parts that still looked good and change the water when I realized the survivors had grown roots!!!!!!!!!

i’m sure this wouldn’t be a surprise to people who know more about plants but like. i bought pre-cut sprigs, i thought they were Dead??? did not expext store-bought pre-cut mint could still propagate????? this feels frankensteinesque idk i bought corpses and created life????? (<- aware this is not what happened)
