anyway do you ever think about how captain brenner missing martin’s birthday was a major event in martin’s life & hurt him enough for him to tell captain brenner that he hates him- and then brenner turned around & kept all his kids in a surveilled lab where he wouldnt miss a single moment of their lives, let alone important events.

but in doing so, the kids missed out on many of those milestones because they were so cut off from the rest of the world. like, he never missed any of their birthdays, but they never had any friends to invite to birthday parties, etc.

but then looking back at brenner & all of his “alone,” stuff, like his “alone. again.” stuff in the scripts, it seems unlikely that he had many (if any) friends growing up. so, then, he may not even recognize what he’s done re: the kids, because potentially to him & his view of the world, they werent going to have friends anyway because the world treats weird people like shit.

like, for him, the situation was “no friends AND papa missed my birthday.” but from his POV, the lab kids’ situation is “no friends BUT papa doesnt miss my birthday.”

like there’s just something about martin “alone again,” vs all of the lab surveillance and shared spaces like the rainbow room, and how (for better and for worse) the lab kids are never alone.

the real ending for lt. akers was going to spain and becoming one of those tourists that turn pink instead of tanning in ibiza i am the third duffer brother

DR. BRENNER’S ACTOR SAID THIS ABT THE WRITING IN SHOWS ON NETFLIX RECENTLY…AND ITS BEEN CONFIRMED THE DUFFERS USED CHAT GPT TO WRITE S5 OH HES THROWING SHADEEE

yearning to live the cringe free lifestyle of 13 year old wattpad fanfics where the writer's oc is a lab kid with powers. but im scared the people would hunt me down for being too cringe and shoot me /silly
