Tengen needed 6 people to defeat UM-6, Rengoku couldn't defeat UM-3, Tomioka was pushed to brink by UM-3 and at the end Akaza killed himself, Shinazugawa (most overrated character in terms of impact within Hashira) needed Gyomei and Muichiro and Genya to bring down UM-1, Kanroji almost gave up by the end of it against UM-4 (and needed Tanjiro to cut demon's head), Obanai needed Yushiro to jump in to defeat UM-4 (one of my favourites but please Obanai as Hashira came way too late in the story), even Mui had luck by his side as UM-5 got distracted (although he did defeat him single handedly) and here is Shinobu who literally walked to her death and weakened UM-2 enough that he was brought down by two non-Hashira corps members...
The only legit UM vs Hashira battle has been Shinobu vs Douma where a Hashira actually and legitly defeated an UM just like that at the cost of her life and where the logic of fighting actually made some sense (given Douma's role in her back story), who the hell are these people calling her a fraud??? Her "fraud" saved half of more lives than any other Hashira did... These people know without Tamayo and her, they were literally cooked....
*tsk tsk I keep saying Shinobu really ended in a wrong, wrong genre where half fandom is afflicted with misogyny on account of her being a woman and another half afflicted with misogyny in the name of non-het shipping...
Shonen female characters are literally one of the most pitiful genres of female characters, never seen a strong Shonen female character not being dragged through hell either in the name of non-het shipping or toxic masculine disdain culture hiding in the garb of so-called power-scaling...
So many people who love generative AI don't have a creative bone in their body and can't imagine anyone actually enjoying the time and effort it takes to write something or draw something.

This post is getting a good bit of notes, but I think these tags sum it up best. When people point out that the genAI stans literally did not write anything, a lot of them get defensive like "BUT I TYPED THE RIGHT QUERY INTO THE TEXT GENERATOR SO I STILL DID SOMETHING!!!"
That's like saying you made Chinese food because you picked up a phone and told the guy on the other end what you wanted! (Except at least you'll get what you expected from a restaurant order, whereas AI still hallucinates bullshit quite a bit)

i truly think that this recent trend of βif you relate to a post about a different identity than your own you are ~derailing~ and taking over the conversationβ is incredibly harmful.
i recently experienced some pretty severe transphobic abuse in my workplace (childrenβs home) that included having food thrown at me, being called slurs, being told i was a pervert because i am trans. one of the managers talked with me afterwards and shared that he had had a similar experience as an Asian man. this wasnβt him derailing my experience, or talking over me, or making things about himself. he was communicating βhey, i know how it feels and how much it sucks. youβre not alone.β
THAT is what solidarity IS. i donβt know what itβs like to be Asian, he doesnt know what itβs like to be trans, but we both had a similar experience and we were able to turn a horrible experience into an opportunity for bonding and comfort.
stop looking at peopleβs attempts as solidarity as an attack. and hey, you never know - you could find an opportunity to grow closer to other people.
