Trying to explain Warframe to new people is impossible without sounding absolutely insane. It's like, if a game had an identity crisis...but in a good way. An identity buffet, if you will. There's so much in this game it's sensory overload.
You like space dogfights? Rogue-lites? Fishing, mining, player housing? How about Guitar Hero, space shanties, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater? Let's not forget the dating sim. Oh yeah, you can add a birthing QTE rhythm minigame too, because why not. I'm waiting for the inevitable sex update, cause y'know, we've gotten this far without imploding, so it might as well happen. Like what the fuck even is this game anymore. Nobody knows! Not even the devs themselves. It's all held together by dreams, duct tape and vibes at this point, but somehow it works.

warframes scifi is so cool i love how deliberate they are about constraining the scope. there are no aliens. other than a single plant species they have yet to discover any other forms of life beyond earth. the orokin empire spent thousands of years creating technology beyond what anyone could dream of, terraforming entire planets into radically different biomes, and still struggled to escape the solar system. their most notable attempt at large scale FTL blew a hole in the fabric of reality and killed nearly an entire colony ship
i think like warframe is. among other things. a story about how there is nothing for us in the stars. the orokin only cared about tau because they fucked up earth beyond their ability to repair. or rather - they fucked it up and didnt care to fix it, because they assumed they could jump to tau and live there and leave their problems behind
every problem traces back to the actions of a bunch of immortal yaoi hand elon musks who created problems and then tried to solve them with new problems, and then their empire fell and thousands of years later we still have to clean up their messes

I find it very offensive that the more unwell you are, the more things you have to do to maintain your health. Things like following special diets, going to medical appointments, making big and important decisions about what treatments to use. At the same time, the more unwell you are the less energy you have to do all of these extra things. It seems grossly unfair.
