Wasps get pretty used to the presence of onlookers! They just keep carrying out their VERY (!) important tasks uwu I once spent like 20 minutes looking at wasps fortifying their little rooms in a wall against the oncoming winter! They were very smart and pretty and very sweet about me standing there <3

fun fact!!! studies prove that ppl have a more emotional reaction 2 wasps than bees and think of them in very strong negative ways. not only is this a general issue but even within science and gardening there is a bias against them, which is obviously bad. sumner s suggested media showing the benefits of wasps could mitigate this over time. also about 1% of all wasps species r the stinging black and yellow ones
There’s a huge gap in scientific understanding about wasps (etc. . .) BECAUSE of negative publicity perception about them.

i’ve had more than one anon asking about lips and i’ve tried to do a little tutorial before without posting it simply because i feel like my mouths aren’t really that special. they are always really quick and not super detailed, but i tried to put something together anyway! as always this is not a depiction of how you best draw mouths or how you should paint them, this style is just how i draw them.
and of course, i added some examples. i use this method almost everytime painting lips these days.
