Cannot cope with the insane amount of AI on the RC reddit

I know I said I will try to rant less, but just, wtf is going on with the RC official subreddit for the past week? There is like 2 or 3 times more AI fan content than usual. And they get like crazy votes too, usually people downvote these, but they get 100 or even more than 200, none of my drawings ever reached the 200 milestone. The drawing that I spend so much time working on barely hit the 100, and then shortly after some AI slop of unpopular book reached over 200 within hours. It fucking broke my heart seeing my stuff sandwiched between AI slops that are getting more attention somehow.
I will say it again, Im not hunting for votes, it’s just crazy how people are not bothered at all by these creepy AI slop images, how people will eat just any bullshit given without thinking just a little 🤏 tiny bit deeper about the generated content that they see. Like, isn’t it way cooler when you do things yourself? What happened to being creative and stuff, I want to see how fans feel about these books and characters, express themselves through art, not this shit. It just breaks my heart, Tumblr is like the only safe space for me right now, Tik Tok is way worse with AI stuff, but I’m kinda used to it(sadly), but official RC subreddit just keeps disappointing me, especially since I contributed there.
Anyway, Im sorry for this, I want to chill and have some fun, not thinking about irl stuff when I’m visiting the RC fandom, but I just can’t relax or have fun there, it’s like everything just sucks, you know.
Im not gonna give up drawing, but I would be lying if I said all of this doesn’t affect me as an artist.
