Dina (she/her). Mostly retro. My icon is always bright blue so I can find it! Duran Duran & Beatles with a lot of John Taylor & Paul McCartney pix. All pictures of musicians not taken by me. 😏 Some of my own photos & artwork, along with reblogs from other artists are on my 2nd blog @kaleidoscope-galleries https://kaleidoscope-galleries.tumblr.com/. Also I created a new 3rd blog where I exclusively post my own photos and art at @floraviola https://floraviola.tumblr.com/. ISFP/INFP. Age range: a fossil according to tumblr...somewhere between thirtysomething and senior citizen. 🪦

my 5 year plan is to get back my joy

to stay pure at heart!! make sandwiches for picnics and spend days in the sun staring at the passing clouds, lazy dog day afternoons and writing dumb poetry knightly evenings and jamming to funny songs and learning more and letting the past be weightless and going to botanical gardens and taking the love my life to art museums and moving on with my life to bigger and better things

Would You Recommend:

Seriously how can you hate a whole album of Bowie doing covers of tunes he enjoyed. In some cases, these songs aren’t very different from the original, but hearing Bowie's vocals just increases the enjoyment. I forgot how fast paced Side A was. Not only are the songs set at a rapid pace, there is barely space between tracks which adds this frantic stress through all of Side A. Side A ends with a somber version of Can't Explain. It feels like all the energy has been focused into a destructive force that leaves this somber mood going into Side B. It sets up Side B in such a great way. All the tracks are good, but some I wouldn’t care if they weren’t on here. This is a really solid album, considering it was all covers. This is a good listen.

Don't take my word for it listen for yourself and tell me what you think.
