Scanners (1981), David Cronenberg.
With Albert afraid he'd scared Leo while Robin was in the basement, why do you think he kidnapped Finney still? He could've put Leo in the basement, in your mind why did he still end up kidnapping Finney? Could Al and Leo have been in a fight, so while Leo was away he grabbed Finney or whatever?

Oh, Grabber/Albert wasn’t afraid he’d scared Leon. He asked because he wanted to find out if he’d get more free sex in the future. (He was a little offended by Leon’s answer, thinking that he wouldn’t come again. Bro is intolerant of criticism.)
Grabber simply understands that locking Leo in the basement is dangerous for his own life. Leo has beaten him many times, and Al couldn’t handle him in a fight. Besides, he is already too old for the basement. Grabber obviously prefers children for basement games. That’s why he needed Finney. Bastard asserts himself at the expense of the weak. He can only fight with kids(and attack his brother from behind)
Ah no, this loser was killed by a thirteen-year-old.
Finding out what David Fincher said in an interview about Trent Reznor "He's not a puppy. He's more feline." was not on my 2026 bingo card.
