Not sure if it's because I just finished playing Monster Prom but I'm not vibing with Monster Camp. I focused on Damien during Monster Prom, so I did that in Monster Camp too. But he spends time with Aaravi Mishra and she really rubs me the wrong way. I was okay but a little annoyed with her in Monster Prom, plus it was fairly easy to avoid most encounters will still woo-ing Damien. But now I feel like she is in every other scene and also has Hex whom I find annoying as well (though less so than Aaravi).

It's okay for a game to have characters I don't like but I would prefer to have a choice to hang out with them or not. I'm not done with this playthrough. I may try restarting and going for someone else. I love Damien but it's miserable to have to do scenes with Aaravi repeatedly.

I will caveat this by sharing that I did and do currently have a headache while playing Monster Camp, but I also had a bit of one during Monster Prom. I'm prone to headaches. I could try again when I feel better. I find Counselor Flodge irritating too and I think that's heavily influenced by my headache since I usually don't mind silliness. I had to stop playing during a scene that featured both Flodge and Aaravi. I'll wait before playing again.
