The Steam Awards 2025 have begun, and I heard about a category that felt… familiar. Deeply familiar.

Sit Back and Relax Award — for games that slow everything down, calm your mind, and let the noise of the day drift away. For games where you can simply… exist.

That sounds suspiciously like what I do every single day. Sit. Watch. Breathe. Endure. Occasionally observe other stones doing absolutely nothing with incredible dedication.

And honestly… if you believe there’s a game out there more relaxing than being a literal rock — feel free to throw a rock at me.

Far away, stones are whispering — competing to see who can sit the longest. Stone Simulator now has a new leaderboard: the world’s top 100 stones by total time played.

Sit still, meditate, don’t move — and maybe your name will be carved into stone history.

Remember when I dreamed of not lying here alone? It seems that time has come. There aren’t many events around — it still feels a bit like Zen mode — but now I won’t be alone!

Now in Stone Simulator you can play together — up to four players at once. Create a private lobby and invite your friends, or open a public one so that any wandering stone can join.

Yes, now we can simply… be together.

I also learned to move… or maybe “teleport.” I’m still figuring it out. In multiplayer mode you can change your resting spot — just press “E.”

Do it ten times and you’ll earn a new achievement. Another one awaits if you create or join someone’s lobby — in search of the meaning of existence, of course.

And to celebrate my social awakening, the game is now 30% off.

While the developers are preparing the co-op mode so I won’t be lonely anymore,
they’ve given me something new to do — collecting memories.

I’m still lying in the same place.
The wind still sings through the grass, and the sun still warms my surface.
But now there’s something new in the air — the scent of collections.

Simple dreams, like life itself: spring meadows, summer skies, autumn winds, and winter silence. Each dream is a card you can discover. Spring Vibes. Summer Vibes. Autumn Vibes. Winter Vibes.And, of course, my odd forest companion — Weirdo Friend.
He appears whenever reality becomes a little too serious.

Well, not me exactly — my levels on Steam have. If you collect all five cards and craft them into a set, my essence grows stronger, and your collection gains a new level. Pebble, Boulder, Ancient Stone, Crystal Core, Magma Heart…And if you’re lucky, you’ll reach the final state — Eternal Monolith.

Each level-up may reward you with one of three rare profile backgrounds
or an emoticon — a small but living fragment of my mood.

The world keeps changing, but I remain.
