BF2042 is currently the best BF title running, after the shutdown of BF Bad Company 2

BF6 plays like CoD.
BF2042 plays like BF game.
Better or worse depends on what gameplay you prefer.
For CoD players and Metro/Operation Locker enjoyers, I guess BF6 will be better.
Can't say anything about BF1. It's not a real BF game to me.

BF2042 is the worst BF game. But you can't really compare BF2042 with BF1 or BF6. Both games plays much differently.

BF1 has slow clunky movement with terrible gunplay and poor visibility. I legit can't see the hype of this game. It plays so darn awful, but if you are a big casual then you can't go wrong with BF1 I guess lol.

I only played little bit of BF6, but it has some issues. Poor audio, visibility, Breakthrough has been butchered as a game mode, sweet spot for snipers (EW) and terrible hit reg (no surprise). I could write more issues but can't be bothered.

I could comment on BF2042's issues, but the horde of defenders of this game don't like facts / truth. They love to deny them.

Also I love how people compare BF6 to COD, when BF2042 is much more cod like. BF6 has the slowest movement. Meanwhile you can tac sprint, slide fast, jump shot and whatever crazy movement nonesense you can come up with in BF2042. So wdym BF6 is more cod when you get punished for trying those things in that game lol.

Sucks that it only has majority of BOT players, I want to play with actual full team players not BOTS.

Strawmen argument.
Only one person in this topic said it's the "best" BF game and even he made a reservation that it is because BC2 is dead now. Yet you address imaginary "guys".
We all have our own "best" BF games. To me it's BF3. For many it's either BF2, BC2 or BF4.
But answering the OP's question, yes it's better as a _BF_ _game_ than both BF6 and BF1.

Just because a game have more players than BF2042 doesn't make it a better BF game.
Read CoD forums, CoD players are happy to switch to BF6 because it's better CoD than CoD itself.
BF6 is only battlefield in its name.
And BF1... Just watch what people posting on youtube as a core BF1 gameplay. Some sniper sitting at the far corner of the map and shooting at the other corner of the map. I'm tired of blocking those "creators" because there were so many of them. This is not battlefield.
The same way as I'm tired of blocking "creators" posting CoD gameplay of BF6.

We had this CoD type of gameplay even in BF3. There was a whole DLC dedicated to it. But back then, we had a choice. We could choose maps, servers. We didn't play this "Close Quarters" DLC all day, all month, all year long. Yet in BF6, you don't have a choice. That's all you got.

imagine a 'Counter-Strike: Global Offensive' or now a 'Counter-Strike 2' game with a million players .. does this automatically or magically make it a "best" Counter-Strike title or a "best game"? no !! NOT AT ALL . . . for me it was and still is "Counter-Strike: Source", before its Orange Box "downgrade", and still after its OB implementation

CSGO and CS2 are the very worst Counter-Strike titles in history of gaming, even one of the very worst FPS Ego Shooter games in history ..

more numbers does not automatically mean a "best" game, but brainwashed and highly toxic GenZ and GenA players and their behaviour in-game as well as on various platforms and communities, addicted to gambling and skins, heavy scammers, and not to mention cheater who have access to that worst Free-2-Play game in history. literally people who can be easily manipulated as well as by streamer and/or other so-called "influencer", instead to use their own brain and mind

CSGO was peak in its Closed Alpha state with stong and precise weapons and in its Closed Beta state with amazing official 102.40002 tick servers, and even before it hit its V1.0 release, skins and low-performance servers were already active .. the downfall of the series as toxic players as well as the amount of cheater increased potentially. This CSGO also has changed Steam, completely turned over its community and various internet platforms and communities into the worst, changed a whole era and at least 2 generations of gamer

i had played the Counter-Strike series since CS v0.9x, was one of the very early CS players in my country. to play CS v0.9x we had to switch from HL to CS by entering a terminal/console command in Half-Life. then later created a Steam account when we were forced to create one with CS v1.6, and ended my CS "career" by the CSGO Danger Zone release. years later to test CS2 for once and just for 10 minutes to see: CS "is dead" ..

similar as with the Battlefield series, started with BF1942 to see BF6 is no longer a BF title

even CodField6 is better than CS2 .. WAY BETTER, while CodField6 is the very worst BF title in its own history .. player numbers means

BF2042 is the last BF title which "feels" like a BF title at least, a great game, as mentioned.

BF2042 "had" a bad start, but this is long time ago and history. sadly BF2042 did not get rid of its bad reputation . . . the only good stuff about BF6 is as it has its own standalone Steam Client launcher. Even that is not worthy to be mentioned, but maybe its Campaign.

do not become simply lured or enticed by neat graphics and easy predictable PR

i play 2042 almost everyday. It's a good game for me.

It's a unique Battlefield with interesting Specialists and Gadgets.

2042 is a really fun game imho.

The maps are huge, it has 64 vs 64 battles, the gadgets, the operators etc... I love it.

I play 2042 and BF6, and to me they are totally different games.

2042 honestly is more fun. With 2042 I feel more like I am "in" the battle and can influence the battle more as a player. BF6 feels slow and clunky compared to 2042, more of a meat grinder experience.

2042 feels more like a giant battle to me atm. I'm hoping BF6 gets bigger maps and 64 v 64 players.

i have it on the Ea app and i love every sec i play it Battlefield 2042 super cool game big mapes,teamplay cool peopel, no total chaos on small maps like in other games.
