love this game, but ultimately confused in the end
will there be more lore for this game in different titles or this one, or will this just be it? i'm very confused but ultimately great game over all. maybe i'm really just not getting it.

My interpretation of the ending is that the horseman marks the end of everything. Like, the universe is over, the afterlife is over, it's all over?

But I think it's open-ended on purpose, so you get to decide what you think it means

There is also the name of the final achievement, which might suggest that "a new day" is happening, and that something is coming in the future.

maybe but i wish it was explained in the game + more content. this game was pretty good but it left me wanting a lot more
