Oi~ Long time no see, folks!

Miss those days of blasting demons while picking up trash? Don't worry, your old friends at Breaker Games are back to stir things up again!

Remember that apocalyptic tavern you loved to hate? Yep, we're back where it all began. But this time, we're swapping bullets for... cards!

We're thrilled to introduce our brand-new game—

Apokerlypse!!

It's a card strategy roguelike inspired by classic poker games, but we've twisted the rules into something completely wild! (In the best way possible, of course!)

Here, you'll play as a uniquely skilled post-apocalyptic card shark, using wacky [Demon Chips] to bend the rules, combining them with slick [Hero Abilities] and powerful [Spell Cards] to outwit and outplay player ghosts (data from real players) from around the globe!

Simply put: Your favorite weirdos (heroes) from Apocalypse Party are back, but the game's completely flipped! Forget PVE bullet hell – this is asynchronous PvP madness at the card table! Real friends settle scores with cards, right? Bring it on!

We hope this feature brings you even more fun, creative, and even wild party experiences! There are already some awesome mods created by players during our beta test.
I’ve gotta say, they’re incredibly diverse and full of creativity – go check them out!

The integration of the Steam Workshop turned out to be much more challenging than expected, and the final tool still doesn’t fully meet our usability goals.
Here, we would like to express our gratitude in advance to all the future modders who are willing to create mods for Apocalypse Party.

Hey there, everyone!

I'm Wilson Lin, the producer of "Apocalypse Party," you might have seen my name lurking in the background. Today, I'd like to share some heartfelt words with you.

Recently, we've had a lot of new players join "Apocalypse Party," and many have left valuable reviews. I sincerely appreciate every player and every comment. Whether it's positive or negative, your feedback helps make our game better.

But what I really want to say is,
Our recent reviews have shot up to "Very Positive"!!! Yay!!
Of course, I know that even now, "Apocalyptic Party" is not a game that fully deserves "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews. There will still be moments in the game that drive you crazy, and we will keep fixing and optimizing!

I also have some good news to share with you:

Our next stop is Steam Workshop!

Although developing Workshop has been much more difficult than imagined, as a producer, I am incredibly excited to see everyone's talents in the game.
So, we will do our utmost to let everyone express creativity and share the fun here!

Finally, I want to say, whether you are happy or not, you are always welcome to return to "Apocalypse Party."

Devlog #09: Urgent Bug Fixes for "The Experiment of the Great Old Ones" Update

Key Updates

Fixed a crash issue in Evil God Mode - Yama.
Fixed a potential crash caused by Sheriff - Skill 1.
Fixed issues with weapon level loss and some talents being recalculated after loading a game in Infinite Dungeon.
Clarified how to obtain gold frames for characters: either complete Hell Mode or reach level 6-6 in Infinite Dungeon using the corresponding character.

Bug Fixes

Demon King's Rick's Teleport Gun fails to deal damage.
Executioner - Skill 3 unable to summon after 10 triggers.
immortal Mode - Formless Buddha allows only 5 talents to be selected in 3-player co-op.
Hell Messenger - Skill 2 issues with some weapon projectiles not transforming.
Chaos Card occasionally fails to instantly defeat certain bosses.
Engineer's drones fail to trigger additional lightning damage from Electro Musician.
Theology of the Evil God automatically interacts with the nearest item when triggered.
Dawarshi - Skill 3 has a chance to be ineffective in Infinite Dungeon.
Dawarshi - Skill 1 talent Property Mortgage does not take effect.

Devlog #08: Regular Bug Fixes and Maintenance

Major Updates

Fixed an issue in "Infinite Dungeon" where weapons on the ground disappeared after loading a save.
Resolved a problem where certain weapons associated with the talents "Force Awakening," "Demon Gunner," and "Rear Gun Clutch" would vanish after loading a save in "Infinite Dungeon" mode.

Bug Fixes

Buffs provided by "ACGN Girl - Skill 3" in "Infinite Dungeon" mode disappeared after loading a save.
The "Red Blessing: Recycling Plant" disappeared when loading a save.
Loading a save after consuming Divine Technique Beer would switch the divine technique.
The Soul Scythe would not attack by default in soul state.
Playing as "Commando" in "God Mode - Zhao Gongming" prevented the unlocking of melee divine weapons.
The "Void Devourer's" instant death upon revival could be blocked by some invulnerability effects.
Unable to exit the chapter selection by pressing ESC.
Using a controller with "Ranger - Skill 1" could cause buffs to become ineffective.
Optimized the performance of talents like "Soul Penetration."

Balance Adjustments

Increased the damage dealt by the third attack of all two-handed axes by 25%.
Increased the damage of all single-shot sniper rifles by 50%.

Other Adjustments

Some sound effects were still audible even when muted.
Added support for 32:9 screen aspect ratio.

From April 26 to May 4, Apocalypse Party joins over 400 games in celebrating the feast of Eastern gaming culture, in collaboration with Steam and Steam China.

Beyond the festivities, we know that what you're most eager to hear about is our "2024 Update Roadmap"!

Following the footsteps of March's major free update, we will bring you a content-rich DLC update this sweltering summer!
Later in the year, we're excited to introduce the much-anticipated Workshop!

In addition to our dedication to developing new content, please be assured:

We are also seriously listening to your feedback about game issues.

Seeing your comments and messages fills us with joy, knowing so many of you are enjoying our game and taking the time to offer suggestions. It also brings pressure, as we recognize there are many aspects of the game that still need optimization and fixing (especially as new updates often introduce unexpected bugs).

Devlog #07: Swordmaster Comprehensive Upgrade & Urgent Bug Fixes in New Release

Key Updates

Fixed several new multiplayer crashes to improve online stability.
Fixed talent loss issues in "Infinite Dungeon" for "Demon Gunner," "Force Awakening," and "Gun in Booty" after loading saves.
Fixed issue where unlocking achievements such as 'Apocalypse Party' and 'Breaker Games' for all characters using the skull was not functioning correctly.
Addressed the problem of monsters having zero health after level 100 in "Infinite Dungeon."
Introduced two new beers, "Divine Technique" and "Soul," in the tavern.
Added a dragon with the "Dark" attribute.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where the "Swordmaster - Skill 2" could not upgrade weapon quality.
Addressed the malfunction of "Blacksmith - Skill 2."
Resolved the issue in "Immortal Mode" where players could select duplicate talents that did not activate.
Fixed the inoperative "Red Blessing: Recycling Plant."
Hosts can now select "Immortal Mode" in multiplayer.
In "Immortal Mode - Formless Buddha," only the host's UI was hidden.
"Undead - Skill 2" did not work in "Immortal Mode - Night God Moon."
The "Mary Sue" talent was negating the "Undead" buffs.

Balance Adjustments

The new character "Swordmaster" has been fully upgraded with his three skills’ weapons upgradable to three special orange weapons, including "Wandering Dragon."
After upgrading to an orange weapon, the "Swordmaster" can automatically pick up nearby weapons during charge.
Changed "Gravity" elite monsters to trigger intermittently.

Other Adjustments

"Immortal Mode" will no longer trigger cheat detection.
Modified the text description for "Probability" beer.
