FPS capped to 30. Is it possible to cap to 60 fps?
As title says, is it possible to increase fps cap to 60 in order to prevent the minimal lag between key pressed and game action?

Thanks.

Unfortunately the game's engine is timed to 30, so that if I raised the FPS to 60 everything in the game would run at twice the speed. Maybe that's a good idea for another difficulty mode... :p

But yeah, I've looked into this and it would cause far, far far too many issues in trying to bring the engine up to 60. If I miss one single event in changing it to accommodate 60fps then the whole game would implode.

I understand. Thanks for the reply. I asked only because usually game are capped at 60 fps.

I confirm my first impression: wonderful! Expecially the random events.

Are you stupid? Why would it matter if you get 60 FPS in a game like this? I swear idiots these days.

Sometimes (very rarely) if you press keys very quickly, the second key pressed is not recognized because the game has not updated the frame showed.

Example: in flushing the toilet, the "sanitize" button is grayed out until you press "arrow down" to flush the toilet. If you press the "S" (sanitize) too quickly is unrecognized. Very rarely I repeat but happen.

Fps is useful not only for video performance but also for avoiding input lag.

As you can see the dev replied to my post in a very normal way.

Also, please, consider to search on Google "avoid input lag increasing fps". Maybe you can find useful info about this question. Thanks.

Also on gsync monitors, mouse cursor is not smooth and jumping around.
