Hello everyone! One guy here.

I wanted to firstly thank you for looking at my game. I have been hard at work on this project since early-mid November, working as the solo developer. This is my first ever game, and I am incredibly proud of what I've accomplished in such a short time-frame.

After several months of development done in secret, I put out an initial feeler on Reddit about my work. Graciously, several people reached out wishing me good luck, but one user, William J McLeod (@DirtyTailsOfficial), offered to compose a custom soundtrack for me. This is that soundtrack.

I created nearly every other part of the game from scratch, but making music isn't something I'm familiar with and thus the game was limited to just public domain tracks before he made the offer. He did incredible work, all completely free of charge. Working with him has been an honor and a privilege and I deeply appreciate the contribution he has made to give the game some soul.

I started working on this project about a week after a certain Twitch stream happened on November 10th, 2024. I watched the stream live when it happened, laughed along with the chat, and moved on. But, in the dead of night that next week, I was restless and decided that it was time for work to begin. You see, I was unemployed, having graduated 6 months prior from college with an expensive degree in Computer Science and Art. I was having so much trouble landing any sort of interview; just sitting around rotting in my room all day bored out of my mind and having nothing but free time to pet my cats and help my parents with yard work. So, when the work began, I started to spend sometimes upwards of 14-16 hours a day fully committed to making this a reality. This was my first ever experience creating a game (at least, first time making a game in something more robust than Scratch like in middle-school) so I would spend hours a day simply doing research on how to make things work the way I wanted. Some days I would make steady progress, other days I would be lost in developer forums trying to solve some niche issue. Some days, I would fill the game world with art, other days I would be 3D modelling using a trackpad on my laptop while out of town. Using a trackpad for 3D modelling sucks by the way, in case you were wondering. All in all, getting to this point has been an arduous yet rewarding journey. I have learned so much and have had so much fun making this game, and I hope everyone who plays it has some fun as well. I'll be honest, it's not very fun to play, but it brings a smile to my face every time I open it up.

I don't expect the game to do super well financially, but that's okay. Ultimately, I made it for fun.
