- Forgive me if this already exists and I haven't found it, but I'd love to see radial quick-menus for avatar options. The current panel-like UI feels cumbersome to browse through and select options. And some things like scaling your avatar's size smoothly is impossible right now due to the UI not scaling with you, which is something that would also be solved by being able to 'dial' the slider up or down with the thumbstick/circlepad like in vrc.
- The 'feature' of having your voice muted while alone in a world makes avatar testing annoying. Eg, checking if visemes are working.
- I'm repeating myself from another thread and I know it's being reworked, but I wanted to add here as well that the current full-body calibration system is my biggest frustration with cvr. Having the avatar's head anchored to the viewpoint would be very useful, as it means I only need to stand up straight and I mentally know exactly how my avatar is positioned.
VRC's calibration system somehow 'just works'. I just t-pose, click, and bam, i'm done. Whereas in CVR I have to keep checking if i'm properly lined up with the avatar's position and rotation, which frequently leads to having to recalibrate multiple times before I get it feeling 'close enough'. Also, I prefer to wear my trackers on my ankles but there's something about cvr that causes fbt to not quite right work when I do that, like my avatar will be hovering either a few inches, or a whole foot off the ground.
- Sometimes a user's voice to either pitch up or down during a conversation, which is rather distracting and annoying.
- +1 the OP's meniton of a lack of hud feedback. Often I'll click something, like loading an avatar, and wonder if it's working or not.
And I'll add my appreciation to the OP's by saying thanks to the CVR team during these times. I understand you've all got your plates full right now and that updates in some areas will take weeks or months. I'm hoping my feedback will help provide useful information on where the community wants you to focus.
