Luna's Guide to FA:S Weapons
Fire Arms Source weapons are a bit tricky to use, and I'm going to explain to those who wish to know how to use them effectively. Firstly, do !addons and download the weapons before complaining to me that you can't see/use them.

Fire Arms Source weapons can be modded, the mod menu can be activated by any key bound to "Noclip" the default noclip that Garry's Mod gave you to "V". Once you either rebind that or simply never unbound it and just pressed it, you can press the keys 1-4 to mod either the ammo type, scope, wether or not you want a suppresor, and bipod.

Fire Arms Source weapons aren't pinpoint accurate like the old weapons. They're a mix of CS:GO and Garry's Mod. So burst firing or pressing E+R at the same time to change fire type (Full Auto - 3 Round Burst - 2 Round Burst - Single Shot). I recomend changing fire type to Single Shot for long range, 3 Round Burst for Mid to Close range combat, same with 2 Round Burst and Full Auto for close range only. Crouching and standing still also increases accuracy. Not only can you change Fire Types, but you can shoot through thin walls, most if not all doors can be shot through, but with damage reduction. We suspect that weapons also do limb damage, so aim for the chest and head!

The silencer is great for full auto weapons and T's as recoil is reduced and weapon sounds range is greatly reduced but at a cost of -10% damage, people barely ever hear my shots, even when in the other room.
Let's go deeper detail on how to operate some of the weapon types starting with my favorite.

Pistols

There are Six pistols inside the Fire Arms Source weapon packs that we have.
The P226, IMI Desert Eagle .50, Glock 20,Taurus Raging Bull Model 454, M1911, and the T OTs-33 Pernach.
The P226, Glock 20, and M1911 are the only pistols that can have silencers on them, so I recomend them for T's as they're quiet. Another thing is that although they are very accurate, I still recomend burst firing and aiming down sights. While the Deagle, Raging Bull, and OTs-33 are all for loud and proud. As the Deagle and the Raging Bull are semi automatic like most pistols, the OTs is automatic with an ability to become semi-auto with E+R.
Recomended range: Mid to Close range. Raging Bull for all ranges as it has a X4 magnification scope.

Snipers

First and foremost, this isn't COD, there is no quick scoping, don't even try.
There are Four snipers inside the Fire Arms Source weapon packs that we have. The M24, M21, M82, and the SR-25.
These were made with the intent of long range shooting bosting a general x4-x8 magnification scopes. All of the snipers come with bipods except the M21, which is used by going on a prop/map part and a notification will pop up saying (PRESS USE) to enable the bipod. They are not 100% accurate, but are very accurate, around 95-99%. These weapons are generally 3 body shot kills, and 1 hit kill headshots.

Shotguns

There are Four shotguns inside the Fire Arms Source weapon packs that we have. The M3 Super 90, KS-25, Remington, and TOZ.
These shotguns are a mix match of ranges. As two shotguns use Slug Shells, or Shells that shoot one pellet per shell. While the other two use Buckshot Shells. Starting with the M3 Super 90, without it being modded the Super 90 shoots Buckshot Shells that fire multiple pellets as does the Remington, and TOZ do. These are used for CLOSE RANGE ONLY, don't even have hope to hit anything above 10ft. While modded, the weapon is fitted with Slug rounds, these rounds are used for target practice on disk launchers. Esentially making them mid range snipers. The M3 Super 90 and KS-25 shoot these rounds with extra damage than the Buckshot rounds, but be weary as these shells only shoot one pellet. The M3 Super 90 has a unique feature unlike the other shotguns. If you have 0 reserve ammo and you see the shells on the side of the gun, you may reload using those shells. This aplies to both ammo types.

I had no clue that you can change fire types! Thanks for this Luna!

Weapons can penetrate certain walls. The walls it can penetrate are determined on the texture. Use this if people are hiding behind walls.
