So while I expect discord or the like would be a better idea to ask in, this post is here, so I thoguht I'd poke it one more time.

Legacy League, the all-previous-leagues-as-items league, starts on the 3rd of March, and if any dapperlings would like to join me for some muti-league party fun before the most massive of massive PoE expansions, Fall of Oriath comes out later in the year!

And like before, if anyone is interested in a small but stash-having PoE guild, poke me ingame, here, or on the dapper discord, and I'll add you to it.

In roughly 4 hours from now (around 3pm EST), the new Ascendancy expansion comes out with a ton of new things, along with a new challenge league, so I thought I'd bump this in case anyone was interested in partying or the guild like I've done for previous large updates.

Unless I end up needing to do something else then (or the game crashes), I'll be on the dapperlings TS around then, theres loot to be had and a labyrinth to defeat!

I wouldn't mind someone to play with! Though I'm not sure what timezone you're in, raidsoft.

Well, theres a rather awesome update coming up in less than a month (Dec 11th) along with a new league (Talisman!), and theres currently a small event league going on (Darkshrine, sacrifice rare items, get map or monster or player effects), so I thought I'd bump this and see if any dapperlings were interested in the guild again, or just had questions. Whisper @Shadwondr for either in game, or just post here.

Well its been quite a few days now, hasn't it! Skyforge is alright, but probably not the sort of thing I'd play a lot of after all. Now onto the point of me posting in this again: I'm again online ingame if any dapperlings wanted to join the guild (also Maykel147 & Meldo, I accepted your friend invites).

I still am yeah, although currently being distracted by Skyforge sometimes as well.

As for your character, he's almost certainly still in existence, just in standard if he was in a previous challenge league. Or in Hardcore if you played one of the HC challenge leagues and didn't rip. Your stuff will still all be there too, in remove-only tabs if your stash space can't hold what you had in a previous league. The only characters that get voided are certain race events who get set to void league at the end to prevent standard's economy from being even more full of stuff.

As for builds, well, the furthest I've gotten in the game is act 1 of cruel difficulty, the NG+ you described. Mainly because i keep wandering around, making the beginnings of interesting-sounding builds. Firestorm BM Marauder for example, or a dominating blow templar (the bloody high mana costs are shenanigans, but it is incredibly amusing to wield enemies against other enemies!), or whatever sounds interesting. Aside from one frost blades dual-wielding shadow in warbands (which is working surprisingly well considering I rarely play melee), I have all of a single level 42 character, so most of them are nowhere near the lategame anyway. I still have all of cruel to fight first! And all of merciless for that matter, though merc is lategame anyway.

By the time I actually /get/ to merciless at my rate of distraction, either there will probably be another passive reset or I'll have accumulated plenty of respec points & regret orbs to fix any big issue I end up running headfirst into up there. And if not, I have plenty of other characters to try in the meantime, so I don't really worry about builds :)

I go about it like this:
1. Either investigate your collection of gems, or open up the wiki (or poedb.tw/us/ ,both are good), pick a skill or two that sound cool.
2. Pick enough support gems to assume you can put at least one of those skills in a 4 link item. 5L is better, but it is far easier to pick up 4L items, and whenever you get Vorici into your hideout its only a matter of having enough fusings, jewelers orbs, itemlevel, and chromatic orbs to get any sort of setup you need past act 2/3 normal.
2a.Check the quest rewards/vendor gems list to see if you'll need to grab the gems in question with another character, or if you can get them all by yourself.
3. Look at the poe forums, see if someone is doing a similar idea. Make your own skilltree similar to it, or just use theirs if you think they're spot on what you were going for.
4.End up with another idea and loop back to 1 around A2N or 3N >.>

I'm back online (simply as Aklyon, my summoner whose been though basically every major update since launch), and i thought of two things to perhaps help make this easier:

The first was if anyone wanted to instead of whispering me, they could put their character name here and I'll try to message them every so often to see if they're online to invite.

The second thing was perhaps asking for a channel on the TS like there is for FFXIV or Terraria, but I'll leave that up to Aavak & the TS admins to decide.
