The same day, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth briefed NATO partners on the cornerstones of the US' new Ukraine policy."

"If the leaked information from strana.today is to be believed, a ceasefire in Ukraine should be in place by April 20. It will freeze the war along the frontline in eastern Ukraine, but require the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the Russian region of Kursk."

All of this is speculation and none of it is set in stone or confirmed in any way. I do not often make announcements for usually nothing is as important enough. A peace between Russia and Ukraine is a favourable outcome to what has become the most brutal conflict in Europe of this decade.

Ten people have been killed in a private jet crash north of Moscow - with the Russian Civil Aviation Authority saying Yevgeny Prigozhin was on the passenger list.

Seven passengers and three crew were on board the Embraer aircraft, which was en route from Moscow to St Petersburg, TASS news agency reported.

The jet crashed near the village of Kuzhenkino Tver region, 60 miles north of Moscow, according to Russia's emergency situations ministry.

Prigozhin was now officially declared "dead" by the Russian Government.

The ongoing conflict shall not impact any personal opinions about the idea of a Russian-German friendship, we distance ourself and try to remain neutral about this geopolitical dilemma.
