Units and Military Guidelines
Each faction has their own names and variations of the basic Unit, so Faction X(Men) has "Iron Legionaries", while Faction Y(Also Men) has "Silver Sheilds", but both are still Heavy Infantry.

Unit Types
+ L = Light; M = Medium; H = Heavy; E = Elite
+ Elite Units always need Steel. Heavy Units always need Iron.
+ [XYZ] Ressource requirement for the unit. A " / " means both ressources work, each better metal can replace a lesser. Like if you require copper for a unit, you can also use Iron or Steel.
+ {Race restrictions}: H = Human, O = Orcs, D = Dwarves, E = Elves
+ Dwarves: Mounted Units need Goats/Boars. Elite units are available with Base Conscription. Elite Units maximum 20%.
+ Man: Elite Units only available in professional armies. Elite Units maximum 10%.
+ Elves: Elite maximum 25%.
+ Orcs: Elite units maximum 10%.

Military Guidelines
Manpower
Every realm gets a number basing on the total population, which represents the amount of people able for military service. You can use as much of as you want, though do not forget that no men will result in problems in production and population growth. Moreover units have ressource requirements, listed above.
Army Type
It is completely up to the player what kind of army he/she uses. A levy system, a standing army, conscription etc. whatever. No rule is set on it. Though higher developed armies have requirements.

Levy System: Needs 1 food. Low quality troops, no training. One day for recruitment.
Restriction for Man: No Heavy or Elite Units.

Basic Conscription: 1 Textile, 1 Food is needed. Medium quality troops. Two days for recruitment.

Advanced Conscription: 1 Textile, 1 Fodd and 1 vellum is needed. High quality troops. Four days for recruitment.

Professional Army Service: 2 Textile, 2 Food, 1 vellum and 1 steel is needed. Highest Quality of troops. Seven days for recruitment.

Note

Races have advantages.
Dwarves have a defensive/armour bonus.
Orcs have an offensive bonus.
Elves have a ranged bonus.

When you start training an army, post that on your player card for a standing Record of recruitment.

Short Guide into Military

First of all, if you have any question, please do not hesitate to ask. It is easier to ask and get clarification instead of getting stuff voided by an admin because it has been done wrong.

You have a total Manpower number, this represents all males of your realm which are fit for service. You can put as many under arms as you want, but it will have effects. Like levies who are constantly under arms will cause unrest, because they are only peasants who are forced to take up arms.
If you draw too many into service it can cause problems like unrest or producation stagnation in your realm, because the males are not there to work. Be carefully with your army or you can get huge problems.

About raising troops, please write it in your player card as a new comment. It is necessary to keep track when and how many troops you have drawn into service.
Watch the limitations and restrictions for the units and races.

Note: There are three perimeters to rate the quality of your troops.
Race - Equipment - Army Policy.
Race: Very obvious.
Equipment: If Copper, Iron, Steel or Mithril is used.
Army Policy: How trained your troops are.
