GreenScream’s FRIENDLY Hive Returns

Back by popular demand, we are excited to announce the return of GreenScream’s FRIENDLY Hive DayZ server. The new server IP is 75.127.1.122:2602.

GreenScream’s FRIENDLY Hive presented a difficult problem. DayZ is still in its Alpha development stage, and so are the tools available to server Admins. This made it incredibly difficult and time-consuming to determine whether players were breaking the rules, namely KOS. And notwithstanding the Admins best efforts, sometimes it was still impossible to determine whether a player did in fact break the rules. This resulted in an unmanageable burden on Admins and a large number of unwarranted bans against players.

Since deciding to discontinue GreenScream’s FRIENDLY Hive, the number of requests for its return have been substantial. In light of the desire for its return, we are bringing back the server and its original playstyle. The rules will strongly encourage friendly, roleplay, and PVE-type gameplay. However, to alleviate the aforementioned problems, we will no longer ban players for KOS. For anyone looking for a true No-KOS server, consider donating in order to join our second, whitelisted server, GreenScream's Private Hive.
