Gears Tactics (Honest Review)
1) Why I purchased/played the game?
2) How long did I play it?
3) Game completion (% achivements) and rarest achivement
4) How much did I pay and was it worth it?
5) Visual impression?
6) Audio impressron?
7) General gameplay

Let's start
1) Not being a fan of turn based strategy games (looking at you X-com franchise) it was a surprise for me that I decided to give a shot to this genre of games. The only reason is that I love Gears franchise and was never disappointed by Microsoft’s top tier franchise.
2) 15 hours with finishing main story and side missions (that are obligatory to progress with story). It is possible to get much more hours because game is not repetitive and there is tons of choices to be made.
3) Got 46% of achievements, most rare being (Trick Shot).
4) Not paid, got it as part of Xbox Game Pass for PC. Considering that Xbox Game Pass for PC costs 3 euros per month and game on Steam is 60 euros, it was definitely worth to get it through Xbox Game Pass for PC.
5) Visually game is astonishing. Details in this game and usage of Gears 5 engine are incredible. If you turn on ultra-textures you will be breath taken. Just one big WOW.
6) Music is quite good and follows the atmosphere that Gears franchise has built up through all previous years. Sounds effect are very good and voices and narrative parts are very well done. Combined with astonishing visual performance it is a perfect match for very much enjoyable gameplay.
7) The story is set as prequel to first game of Gears franchise so you will meet some of the characters of previous Gears games. Without a lot of spoilers the story is quiet limited but it is understandable for this genre of the game. Gameplay as mentioned above is enjoyable with perfect visuals and sound effects. You will be leading team of Gears (sometimes 2 and sometimes 4) through different missions. Side missions are split to: save the hostages, escape the bombardment and pick up the crates. Main missions are unique and are usually to reach point A and get some item or intelligence. The only minus point was the last mission which was way too long (2-3 hours to complete one mission), while other missions are 15-20 minutes long. To summarize if you are fan of Gears franchise or turn based strategies this game is a must.
