Once upon a time this game WAS actually worth taking a look at, especially since its free, right?
While you might think that, the current state of the game makes in almost impossible for anyone, even premium players to break even let alone progress through hundreds of vehicles.
I could name about a thousand negative things here but I'll keep the list as short as I can, even then it wont be.

1: The economy. Like mentioned above, you can hardly break even unless you spend a ridiculous amount of cash in-game and that includes someone with a positive K/D. I've played the game so long that Im not affected by this because I've been able to 'save up' before their nerfs to multipliers etc etc. - You can read all the economy details in others comments or forums.

2: Balancing. This is both for vehicles and mechanisms. Eg. Even after so many years they've still not decompressed battle-ratings. This results in matchmaking that is so unfair that I've had multiple friends quite the game solely based on this. Especially new players will come face to face with opponents they almost have no chance of defeating.
Their arguement that a matchmaker that would face +/- 0.3 or even 0.7 vehicles against eachother would result in too much time spent in queue. This is another great example if their refusal to face short term backlash, because a drastic change like this would result in (yes longer queues) much fairer matchmaking, meaning more players, meaning more money made and so on.
Also I have my suspicion that they on purpose add undertiered vehicles to boost sales, this applies especially to premium vehicles. Because it generally takes them months to change them even though its blatantly obvious that they're OP (Eg. 2S38).
Then there are mechanisms, (oh boy this list could be long..) they have a horrible habit of countering OP additions to the game with even more OP mechanisms/vehicles. Im just going to name one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying example here; They added air-to-ground missiles, realised they out-ranged all SPAA's.. then chooses to add a SAM (Tor) that can kill any aircraft as they spawn without any warning. This is just one example of so many where they fail to step on the brake and thoroughly test mechanisms/vehicles before adding them, and again - failing to rapidly correct their mistakes when they are made.

3: Maps.. Jesus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ christ their map-designers need to take drugtests before work.. I've never ever ever played any slightly competitive game with as horrible map-design as WT. in 90% of the maps its possible to spawn-camp the enemy spawn within 60 secounds or much less, just to add salt to that open wound, on alot of the maps its only possible from one of the spawns.
Generally their maps are unbalanced and horrible for competitive gameplay. They've even had so much trouble with people escaping what is suppose to be the 'playable' area of a map and going on crazy flanks that they've resorted to permanently add a 'out of bounds area' around every map. This would be great if it wasnt implemented so poorly that even some parts of the playable area are now also out of bounds, this includes parts of roads of some maps. Sure you have 25secs to move but its annoying and have been for months.

This review could've been 100x longer but I realise most have stopped reading at this point.
What it boils down to is: DONT PLAY THIS GAME until Gaijin realise these changes not only benefit us but also themself.

There is so much potential here but instead they're just trying to empty your pockets as fast as possible.

Awesome! best sound efects ever.. bits of bugs here and there but not a big deal. Awesome storyline and great landscape !

Amazing! The most realistic game i've ever tried! but still with that twist of unnatural creatures, and mixed perfectly!
