There's a treasure buried somewhere in here, under a mountain of clunky controls, unfun combat, and a depressing lack of polish.
I can't recommend this to anyone who isn't already a diehard Made in Abyss fan, but there IS the skeleton of a good dungeon crawler underneath all of this game's shortcomings. If only they'd been given another year or two to work on this.
It'd surely be something to write home about.
