Coming from Tarkov I expected this game to be about as hardcore as Tarkov, which I must say, it is not. Atleast not as of right now. I have almost 60 Hours of Gameplay, about 150 drops with an evacuation rate between 60-70%, 100 Kills with a KD just below 2.5 (just taking prospector kills/deaths into account here) and have played most of the time as a 3 stack with only around 10 hours of solo gameplay.

The first day of playing the game, we were lootin´ and scootin´ and engaging in a lot of PvP, which went really good, but the game didn´t fully grasp my attention.

The second day however, I was hooked almost instantly, so you should defenetely play the game more then just one time.

Ever since I played almost daily and enjoy most of the games, though you will experience frustration, even in The Cycle, simply because this is what hardcore lootshooters feel like... one day you are dominating the servers, the other you fall of an edge and get suckerpunched by Jeff´s left and right.

I personally enjoy the fact that even with bad gear you can still beat better geared people simply by having better aim, movement, rotational/strategic skills then them. This lowers the so called "gear-fear" for me - however, if you randomly stumble over an exotic gun or manage to get a huge chunk of loot by defeating your local Chads, you will certainly feel the gear fear until you extracted.

I also see a lot of very good streamers having to deal with cheaters, especially on the hard map, but atleast for us, we have encountered far less cheaters then what a lot of people say, maybe every 30 drops we have someone who was obviously cheating. But as it usually is, whoever killed you has to be cheating, right? Jokes aside, this is a free game and cheaters will unfortunately be a big issue in the game, I would prefer it to split the player pools into pure f2p players and people who atleast buy the 10€ starter set or the season pass. This will certainly lower the number of cheaters for those who care about the game. Plus, how is it possible, that people with VAC Bans AND/OR beeing excluded from other games can still play the cycle?? THAT I do not get.

Nonetheless, I believe the game opens the genre of hardcore lootshooters for everyone who always wanted to get into a game like Tarkov, but was never sure whether they may like the game and the system of loot shooters (wipes etc.).

The Ambience is also great, it feels like a mixture of some features other games offer combined into one, the AI enemys aswell as the bird-like things you disrupt who then reveal your position from across the map kinda feel like HUNT, the movement and gunplay reminds me of APEX, but with a twist to adjust it to the setting of the game.

Ofcourse theree are some aspects in desperate need of change, some areas have bugged sounds or invisible walls due to graphic bugs, but still, I believe it is a great game with a lot of potential and I really enjoy playing it.

Furthermore I must say, the fact that I have the luxury of playing with 2 very good and fun to hang out with pvp players helps a lot for the fights and personal improvements, but even solo, when you feel a little more suspense, is just amazing.

At the end of the day, it is a game not necessarily designed for people who want to have fair fights or even play only pve, but even as someone who is not amazing at pvp I can assure you, play it smart, listen to sounds and know when to engage and when to flee and you will still enjoy the game. And thats what its all about. JOY - and keep in mind, joy is a personal preference, I prefer to play agressive, some people don´t and whilst you and me may find that pathetitc or just lame, for some it is fun.

Waited one third of my life for this game ro be released. Was worth the time.

The love for detail, the open world experience, storytelling, gadgets & abilities are incredibly well done.

Though doing quests makes you feel like battling a hydra. Do one quest, gain 7 new ones. But honestly, I wouldn’t mind gaining 10 new quests for one finished quest. And I usually dont do side quests in games at all.

.. Played this after our Fall Guys drinking game.

Can´t remember anything. But according to the storys I heard ( and the new garden furniture I happened to purchase while beeing drunk ) I assume both the evening and the game were good.

Early Access Review
Fun with friends, however I am not really someone that gets scared so I can´t really say it provides any shocking factors ( for me ). Most of my friends however get scared a lot and love tha game for that so based on what they said surely recommendable.

I prefer playing it in VR, which works really good, even while playing with people who dont play in VR and the overall Gameplay experience, the usage of different gadgets in several places is super fun and works really well.

Overall I would highly recommend this game to anyone due to its great game design and the way this whole ghost/demon hunter feeling plays out.

literally 4 Bucks to betray your friends 24/7. I think thats reason enough to play the game.

Kinda split on this one.

Based on my own experience I pretty much have no chance of winning any game.. atleast while beeing sober.

Beeing drunk however is a different story. Played this game ( as a drinking game ) with friends and we were having a blast playing this and I won a several games. Atleast thats what my stats said the day after and this was pretty much the only positive aftermath of this evening.

So overall, yea it is kinda fun playing it, however I prefer playing it with friends both sober and drunk.

I thought with "Ori and the blind forest" I had already witnessed a masterpiece that will be hard for any other game to even come close to it. But man was I wrong about that. "Ori and the will of the wisps" just beat part one in literally any way possible.

The Gameplay was both challenging and just beautyful and relaxing to enjoy, the Music was spot on, underlining the different story segments and areas, and the story itself... It was so good, I am truly at a loss for words. It made me tear up tho, not gonna lie on that.

I can only encourage anyone to play this game but you sure as hell have to play part one. It´s an experience that is worth the time invested.
