I picked up a bellsprig and it crashes? Then I load back in and I get a skill point, and no bellsprig. That's quality ubisoft open world right there. Well, at least it didn't crash when I got it again...

Edit: Changed it to a tentative thumbs up, since I do enjoy me a ubi open world (excluding crashing). and having a crash after a major (?) update isn't that unexpected.

@dev Oh, I didn't lose it permanently. I just climbed back up and got it. Played for a few more hours and no other crashing.

It's got the NieR Automata feels, just don't go looking for mods (I should've figured).

Gameplay and performance are good. Worst I've seen are loading hitches (Hi Unreal!), I don't think I've noticed any shader stutter?

I think I'd prefer the maps to be less tight quarters.
