This is a hollow, empty shell of a game, they have dumbed the game down to appeal to the masses and it severely shows, not to mention spitting in the face of anyone who even remotely liked KF1 and KF2.

Removed the Welder, can no longer repair doors at all, made the Syringe limited and is only for self use, removing a core mechanic of the first 2 games.

Removed Support, Demolitionist, Swat, Berserker and Gunslinger, (don't care GS is on the road map, should have been in the game like Supp, Demo, and Zerker) 3 of which were part of the CORE 7 Perks from KF1/2, now there is Engineer, a bastard amalgam of Supp and Demo, then Ninja, an inferior and weird offshoot of Berserker.

Removed the ability to change the game length, it's now just 5 waves with a boss wave, the shortest game length possible in KF which was Short (5+1), no more Normal (7+1 waves) or Long (10+1 Waves)

Removed Stalker, a core enemy from KF1/2, along with (except Cysts) all the variants from KF2.

Removed innate Perk specific bonuses and abilities, Commando seeing health bars and clocked Zeds, Berserker (Ninja) being immune to Clot grabs and Perk specific % increases for all Perks like in KF1/2.

Removed Suicidal from difficulty, wish messes with the pacing, balancing and progression, making it feel tedious, staggered and slow.

Removed text chat and chat wheel/menu, because everyone has a mic and wants to speak to randoms right?

Removed XP saving/tracking during game, meaning if you DC for any reason at all, DC'd, net went down, power went down etc. all that progress is gone and you have to do it again, instead of the KF1/2 the XP saves while you play.

Removed being able to customise your character like in KF2, now it's just "Outfit, Head", that's it.

Removed behaviour and attack changes when moving to higher difficulties, like in KF2, they all just act the same except bosses with change VERY SLIGHTLY.

Removed other game-modes, Endless and Objective.

Removed core characters, PC Briar, Lt. Masterson, DJ Scully, and Mr. Foster, OG Foster is not in the game, it's some stupid clone, because they needed a face on the box so people would buy this garbage, same thing with Scully on the road map, instead they added some 3rd rate characters, NO ONE likes or cares about.

Included sliding and dashing, two things NO KF fan wanted and now certain attacks require dashing rather than out running it, jumping it or careful positioning.

Made the Zeds annoyingly tanky for what they should be, a lot of the "redesigns" leave much to be desired, some look straight up awful.

Making Perks tied to "Specialists", I know they said after launch they would separate them, it should have been done before launch.

Clearly trying to copy CoD, Apex and Helldivers especially with the mission select and the "season pass" and the stupid hub world that once again, NO ONE WANTED.

Sub par gun-play, odd animations, weird audio and weak sounding guns, it's actually a step down and a downgrade from KF2, maybe even KF1, not to mention the vibe and atmosphere is lacking from the other two.

If you like Killing Floor in any capacity, would stay away from this until they fix it, or more likely abandon it, this is something wearing the skin of Killing Floor, it's nothing but a cheap, corporate, soulless and inferior imitation of what came before it.

I really like this game, had it since launch and yet it's only gotten worse, it's just such a shame Offworld has squandered it at EVERY possible opportunity, they refuse to lock a certain Region for obvious reasons, not to mention the game bugs, glitches and various other problems.

But the WORST thing of all, the servers are absolutely fried (in OCE at least) I will be rubber banding so hard that I can barely move, let alone aim or shoot, game shows 30-60 ping, yet feels like they've taken a 0 off the ping number.

Last but most certainly not least, you are playing russian roulette when finishing a match, why you ask? Because the game might not even give you the XP, that you spent the better part of 30 minutes to an hour or more working for, completely unacceptable.

I would avoid it in all honesty, maybe check back in a year or two, because it's an absolute mess and borderline unplayable due to the issues stated.

I'm done with this game until it's fixed or until it's killed.

Crashes every single time I host a game with just 3 other friends and two bots either side, running theory is that having bots crashes the game.

What an utter waste of time, I was looking forward to this.

They didn't bring over the MP cosmetic skins at all or the DLC last stand commanders (they lied), plus gotta level last stand again from scratch, what the actual f**k?

Just find the DoW II Master set on CDKeys for like $10.

Hard avoid this cash grab.

So, can you take a wild guess as to why this is a negative review? No it's not because of the balancing, no it's not because it's "hard" (it isn't) and not because you run out of ammo too early (stop wasting it)

It's because they decided a year after making their fun, challenging coop rougelike game public, then pulling a MASSIVE 180 focusing on the narrative, story driven singleplayer experience, pandering to a group of people who weren't gonna buy the game anyway because they thought the game was "too hard"

I would hard avoid this company in the future and get your refunds in as soon as you can, I bought this with my friends to play a coop rougelike, not a damn visual novel with some gameplay in it.

As a advanced response to "they aren't deleting coop!" they are disabling it for a undisclosed, and undetermined amount of time.

So a friend of mine who owns the board game recommended this to me saying it was pretty good, I convince another friend of mine to get it since it's on special.

Cut to us being 40-80 mins into the first f**king room of the game then opening the door to see 2-3 more rooms with all three of us having burnt half of our deck.

What the actual f**k is wrong with this game? No way to get burned cards back between rooms, it just keeps going after all the enemies in one room is dead and expects you to just kill another 10-15 enemies with half a burnt deck after the first room.

Also the combat makes DnD look fast, it's sooooo f**king sloooooow, as said before, took 3 of us 40-80 minutes to clear the first room.

Are there mods to fix this crap or is this a refund?

I've changed my review because I can't even get into the game I paid for now, I will search for 5-10 minutes before it auto cancels and leaves me sitting in the main menu, game is unplayable for me because it's seemingly dead, I'm in OCE.

STAY AWAY from this game, the devs/mods rule their discord and steam forums with an iron fist and they WILL lock/delete your thread, comments and will temp ban you for saying things they don't like.

The fanboys for this are some of the most toxic, rapid people on here, the devs and fanatics will do anything to protect their favourite pet that has shilled this game for 2 years, 24/7, he comments on EVERY SINGLE negative thread and probably gets the devs/mods to shut them down if they don't do it first.

STAY AWAY, don't buy this game, if you have try and get refunds, it's a dead/dying game so unless you are in the US in peak time you're not getting a game, also the cheater problem is still rampant in the EU servers.

Payday 3 is certainly not even remotely good at this stage, I stopped playing it and went back to Payday 2, a game I haven't played for 3 YEARS because PD3 was so god fu*king awful, no heavy armour, no skills anymore, just a sh*tty pseudo perk deck system that barely feels completed or any good, loud combat being driven into the ground in favour of stealth due to certain missions actively punishing you for going loud, no mod support.

The MOST grievous things ever, your level, skill and weapon progression are tied to fu*king challenges, so if you do no challenges no fu*king XP whatsoever, NO OFFLINE, it's always online, if they keep this up, the game will be dead within the year or the next.

PD3 really is the misshapen, inbred brother of PD2 and is worse in almost every way when it comes to mechanics, gameplay, skills and other things, only thing I somewhat like is the new enemies and some changes to stealth.

I was playing with a friend of mine and stared a DM event, when some Chinese hacker joins and starts headshotting/one shotting (with a non one shot rifle) people with lock on snap turns and pre-firing/firing at people behind walls and objects he had no idea they were there.

To be fair I used, "non pc language" and called him some things, but clearly they had enough sway to get an admin to silence me, kick me from the game and then temp ban me through EAC.
