Not gonna lie. It's alright. They need to work on a balance a bit more, and it's definitely a grind to stay F2P. But at the end of the day, it's a good 6v6 class shooter

Legitimately on of the best games I've played. The combat feels great, it runs great, and it's just all around fun to play. When playing with a friend, you don't have to worry about who's picking up what as all loot is shared in the session. Did you already get an item your friend just found? Cool! Here's some currency! I find very few faults in this game, which is sadly rare nowadays. Personally, I find the scrapper archetype to be underwhelming given how hard melee can be. It can sometimes be a little finicky to interact with the thing you want, but that doesn't really come up in situations where it'd be a hassle. Also, the ability to only have 3 characters is kind of bothersome. All in all, a rare find in the current gaming scene, and I'm looking forward to putting many many more hours into this game.

It's like a really weird game of DnD where the DM is strict on rules, but you can still be a murder-hobo. You also have the power to save-scum. So all in all, a pretty good game. Definitely more enjoyable with friends.

Normally I'm not one to really enjoy MMORPG type games (where you end up killing pigs for 12 hours so that you're high enough level to not instantly die after leaving the field) MHW however is one that I haven't gotten tired of or frustrated with even after 72 hours of questing and hunting. I can't wait for Icebourne to come out, because I know I'm going to end up sinking even more time into this game. If you're someone who likes the MMORPG genre, then this is for you; if you're someone who doesn't really like MMORPGs, this game is still for you :)

Real fun game to play with a few friends. Fantastic sequel to an already fantastic game.

Most early access games are missing parts of the core idea the devs are trying to get across. Risk of Rain 2 doesn't even come close to doing that. This game is already so perfect, even with its visible early access bumps and hiccups. I have never seen a more polished game that is this early. Hopoo have honestly knocked it as far out of the park as possible with this one. I can't WAIT too see how this game evolves, as it can only get better!!

I have gone back and forth on this for a while now. However, with the current version, I can safely say, I wholeheartedly recommend this game. It's an amazing thing to boot up every once in a while with friends. The origonal was the best, but this version is as close as it gets. I'm happy to say it's come back.
