I used to really love Battlefield games. It was something that I would look forward to playing due to some of the unique aspects of it, and I usually look at this series with rose colored glasses but this is just...bad. From connection issues, to FPS drops, to bugs, to just feels really bad to play. Even with my friends that are DIE HARD fans, don't enjoy this. I was hoping for it to go back to the BF4 route, since that was a great game but this just, feels unpolished, unfinished, and not worth the time. The only saving grace is the Portal Mode. I would have paid full price just for Portal mode because BFBC2 is in there. Other than that, unless they plan on major fixes, I have lost faith in the series.

Review: Just from an objective gamplay view: I enjoyed the game, it was highly engrossing, with simple mechanics. The joke of it being "walking simulator" is pretty much on point, but it's a bit more in depth than that. The story will draw you in, and the voice acting is very well done. All together I enjoyed 98% of the game. I would recommend it, but to justify the price, wait for a sale where it drops it closer to $10 USD or so.

I would love to see this game have an option of going back and selecting different responses and choice or picking up from a specific event to go forward from there. I don't really see the choices impacting too much of the outcome of the game, but I may do a quick run through to see if it does change anything.

Other than that, if you do decide to play the game, I think you will enjoy the story and find it refreshing, and exciting at times.
