Deeply disturbing, wholly unsettling and stuck in the gray matter of my brain, incredible piece of media that I won't soon forget for its incredible characters, focused storytelling and horribly concise narrative. 10/10 Would recommend for everyone on this planet.

Early Access Review
Terrible game boring enemies, overall very badly thought out game, so little to do for an early access game. Just dont get it its not a banger if u like terraria, minecraft, rusts resource gathering and skyrim.

I love how the tutorial makes you run 500 metres away to place an object, then run back to the quest giver, then run back to the same spot again just to make salted pork.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ game, my friend got a broomstick though so that's cool.

I've got to be honest, the game never connected with me.

The story kind of summed up to "help me and I'll tell you where this certain character ISNT so you can go and ask other characters where this certain character ISNT"

The game as a whole is clearly well crafted, and plenty of time and energy has obviously gone into making it as detailed and impressive as it is. But I've tried three times, and each time grown bored of the game. So I sadly can't recommend it.

I love this game.
But not because of the franchise attached to it.

I was an AVID fan of Assassins Creed as a young lad, I bought and played every single game up to and includng Unity. When that first trailer dropped for Unity I was instantly hooked, Ubisoft had grabbed my attention and locked me in with their flashy cinematics and faked gameplay - now to be fair, I was 13, I believed everything on this earth was beautiful and a game company wouldn't release something I wouldn't enjoy. Unity was the game I realised game companies aren't above rushing games and releasing them unfinished, they aren't above predatory microtransactions and bogus collectors editions. The franchise was eternally ruined for me.

This game changed that, a glimmer, a shard, the smallest speck of hope has come from this game. You can tell real attention to detail was given, actual passion and dedication was put behind this, time and effort, things previous instalments have clearly been lacking.

I honestly disagree with the comments about this game being a grind, that the story comes to a halt at a certain point. Who do you know that played through Skyrim story first? No one does that, anyone with an inquisitve mind would be instantly drawn to the open world and the hundreds of '?' that litter their map.

I'll be honest, the voice actors certainly have their moments of brilliance, but they're nothing to write home about, the story as a whole is genuinely fantastic, minimal trips outside the animus, they've finally realised no one actually gives a ♥♥♥♥ about Abstergo vs The Angst League, so they're focusing on what actually matters.

If the Assassin's Creed stamp wasn't slapped on this, I honestly think this game would of easily stood on it's own, and been a genuine contender for Game of the Year.

Enslaved a race of mushroom people.

Found out you can activate a "process this race" feature.

Plus 100 to food until population runs out.

Fed my race of Space Elves mushroom soup for over 100 years.

10/10
