Fun game if you like Xcom-style combat. I know people like to complain about "But my marines shouldn't take damage from X", but that wouldn't make for much of a game! Besides, if they can die from small arms in tabletop (the OG source) then they can be incapacitated in a video game too! Hardly a reason to hate on a game! The gameplay itself is a lot of fun, and some of the missions are pretty challenging even on lower difficulties. Not one for more casual players, but if you like turn based strategy then it's worth your time.

16 hours in the only real complaints I have are:
- Mission variety - outside of the story missions, pretty much everything comes down to 2 different takes on "Kill this target". Not the end of the world, but would be nice to see a little more variety. Would be nice to see some additional tilesets too, but the actual map variety has been OK so far.

-OP DLC. The addon pack content is incredibly powerful, even without getting the free max level character with full M/C gear, the bonus weapon and accessory are extremely powerful - doubly so when you get them from the start of the campaign. Optional to use I suppose, but still not the best design.

More of the same with updated graphics and UI - but let's face it, that's pretty much all us Blood Bowlers wanted anyhow!

Decent port of the boardgame, if slightly simplified. Still a lot of fun to play!
