I recommend Northgard for just about anybody that has a little bit of patience and an appreciation for the non-FPS side of gaming. Each clan has a bit or mechanic that they use, the story is present (although I would love more of it!) and its great fun to mess around with friends. You can play solo, against your friends, or with them in a variety of modes (straight teams, bifrost, and conquest) with high replayability thanks to the clans and special modes. This game works with odd numbers of friends as well as even numbers, and is a real pleasure to play!

Still has me coming back for Reach and 3 every time!

This game is fun both with and without friends! You have to like the social deception genre in order to like this game, but it challenges the player by keeping the core rotation of gameplay elements and randomizing the map and objective elements.

CON:
Perspective can really challenge you
Must figure the game mechanics out yourself or read guide for starting tips
A toxic traitor-teammate can ruin a game

An old classic. This game will not get old, and if you want to play a more balanced and expanded civ 5 go download LEKMOD from the No Quitter's reddit, I'll link it below. If want more options for your maps, go download Hellblazer's Map-pack to make more enjoyable maps to play on whilst retaining good balancing.

Fantastic party game and lots of fun with friends! Print the guide for more fun and put the computer and the manual in different rooms.

Fantastic game - easy to get into, hard to master, impossible to be perfect. Ignore the toxic players in the community and play to your heart's content, with friends or solo. There is a caring community, in-game people can be toxic but there's so much more than that. People spend time making guides, youtube videos, and in-game content for others so they too can practice, learn, and improve.

Cons:
Community can be quite toxic, but do not let that discourage you! People are just upset that they stop improving and blame it on teammates instead of trying to improve themselves..
One of the best out there!

Fun game, even better with friends! No paying to win or any of that nonsense, +rep.

Great fun with friends, a sort of mix between l4d2 in the coop style but underwater! Must play with friends, online alone is not very fun.

This game was $2 on a few summer sales ago, and 1000+ hours later I'm still here.

Great game, hard learning curve. Play if you want a challenge.
