They took my favorite game of all time "Elden Ring" and tossed it into my favorite game genre "Roguelite". Yeah this is a lot of fun!
For the reviews saying this isn't solo they are literally lying. I've put in 25 hours over this 1 week of playing and I only died a lot in the beginning to the first Nightlord. Every Nightlord after I have 1st tried all while playing solo with every character. Maybe they did an update at some point but this game is fully designed perfectly for solo play and even gives you a free revive.

I have a 240hz monitor. Let me play at least at 144 though. Frame generation turned on gets it to about 100-120fps with MASSIVE input lag. I hope its fixed soon but even Borderlands 3 and other 2K games like Midnight Suns still run terribly so idk

Refunded for now sadly, I waited YEARS for this game. All their optimization guides target 60 fps for "butter smooth" gameplay. None of us bought RTX cards to play games at 60fps c'mon Gearbox... That looks awful on high refresh rate monitors.

I was beyond super hyped for this game, even got millions of views on some tiktoks and genuinely really enjoyed making videos in beta. But solo is luck based on if you get teammates with any IQ at all. They will kick you off the helm and crash your ship, they will not use canons and will instead fly around in space

Game make me eepy, every noise is like asmr, that clarinet after opening the west gate oooof I'm falling asleep. Time to call it a day

Edit: This is ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER MADE and I'll recommend it to everyone on planet Earth. It's my GOTY right next to Hades 2 and E33. The atmosphere and art are so beautiful, the puzzles are some of the craziest things I've ever seen in or out of a game. I've never in my life had to take notes while playing a game but in this one you HAVE TO. Every time I boot this up there is a new puzzle to solve or goals in my mind of puzzles I know about and want to solve; hundreds and hundreds of goals to reach and MIND BLOWING solves.

P.S if you start playing and get to the credits roll, congrats you have just started the game, do not go anywhere. So many people think getting to the credits is the end, when its literally just the start.

Last note, the negative reviews where people get made about RNG and not getting "the rooms they want" are actual little crybabies. That is not the point of the game. You should have multiple goals in mind, multiple routes and puzzles you want to solve everyday, multiple places to reach, you don't focus on 1 thing and pray you get all the RNG to line up for you. Play this game, it may just be the game of the decade, no one makes games like this anymore.
