Gorgeous game but have a decent rig for Ray Tracing - playable with 3080 at DLSS Ultra Performance (Internal res is 1280x720) @ 4k

Wish it was a little shorter - if you want a AAA puzzle game with some decent first person melee combat highly recommend.

The developers identified that people like strapping C4 to a ATV or Jeep in Battlefield and sending it, so made a bunch of throwable items that you can attach mines and C4 to. Oh and you can destroy buildings. Oh and it runs really well!

Game really good - idk why people dont stick to this. My theory is there are too many competitive games in this space right now that are just slightly better than them. (Deadlock, Valorant, CS2) It's a hard time to be the finals right now. But this game is really really good still. I'm surprised the esports side hasn't popped off more to be honest.

Started at 8pm. Thought I only played for an hour but then it was 2am.

Grind to unlock things sucks. Mastering hitting nutty helicopter pilots with a dumb RPG feels so good. It's just turn your brain off good dumb fun.

So well done - feels like replaying this game for the first time nearly 20 years later - just have your VR legs down and you'll have a blast. Crowbar works soooooo well. Wish I had it in HL:A.

For the devs: Please let the left grip be used to ♥♥♥♥ the pistol slide. I have a feeling it's triggered using the "use" action on left trigger, but it seriously feels weird.

Steep learning curve early on - but worth suffering through it. Gets smooth and you realise you only need follow the map of mainline objectives. The game holds your hand relatively well and can keep you on rails. Or you can go completely off rails. Either way, solid game. Tough endings, but rewarding journey.

2013 games. Looks like it's from this year. Great play, likely very similar to the new one 2042. Only ♥♥♥♥ thing is the server queues/match making. The amount of "session disconnect" before you get into game is too damn high. Also too many servers have weird settings.

Counter-Strike surf/kz enthusiasts will love this - so will decent Genji mains in Overwatch... Movement based ninja game executed very well. It chugs on my 980 GTX though...

Half-life is back baby! Valve's ability to produce a quadruple A game has not been lost on this company over the years. Dear god even the low graphics settings looks like today's ULTRA settings in VR. Played on a 980 GTX and no problems hitting the 72 FPS needed to play on an Oculus Quest. Absolutely breathtaking set pieces , thoughtful gameplay, loads of puzzles, and so much detail crammed into every corner of the game. It took me roughly 12 hours to play through the campaign, but I imagine this varies like crazy depending on what type of player you are. Honestly, they wanted to deliver a reason for VR, and they delivered. Every serious PC gamer should consider getting this and the setup required. This is just like HL1 and HL2 where they pushed the envelope in every department.

This is a community passion project since 2004, finally released in full at the end of 2019. Congratulations to the team. You've re-imagined a game I grew up on so well with a more modern spin while remaining faithful to the high notes of the original. Cheers to you and yours.
