this game is epic and i'm only doing this review for steam award badges lol

Multiple obvious flaws on both killer and survivor side.
But with friends or dumbass randoms, the game is quite fun.
Hard to pick up at the begining, but after a couple of games, or couple of hours, you start to get the hang of it. Don't give up on your first game after getting camped by a Wraith or something.
Avoid tryharding. Just ♥♥♥♥ around while trying to win. It's much more entertaining than actually trying to win.

This is not a negative review. More so a mixed one.

On the survivor survivor side of things, the perks aren't that great. But they're honestly Dwight's teachables level of useful. (One perk being useful but the other two being mediocre at best.) But they did a good job showing that the guy is a crack head just with his model and I can respect that.

On the killer side of things, the perks revolve around making the end game much longer and empowering the killer in the late game. Which is pretty fun to me. Freddy on the other hand was the part that killed the DLC for me. His ability has a lot of basic perks. Of course, he is countered by perks setup like Spine chill, Premonitions and Self care, since failed skill checks pull you out of the Dreamworld. I personally think that Freddy could be balanced by removing his ability to see Survivor auras in the Dreamworld or reducing his movement speed and lunge range, since these two are pretty insane compared to the average killer. But I'll admit that he is overall fun to play.

That was my personal opinion. Up to you to see if I'm right or wrong.

Why should you buy this game :

• The game's gud.
  
• Same as the F2P, since the Endless mode and the Hospital hasn't been remade yet, but it's comin'.
  
• Spooky is still a qt.
  
• Spooky is still a potential loli ghost waifu.
  
• The game still makes you jumpscare.
  
• The game still gets creepy in different ways.

I like it.
Worth the couple o' bucks.

I also enjoy the collision bug that allows you to go through walls.

EDIT : This review is NOT meant to be taken seriously. It was mainly a joke.
As much as I personally enjoy the game, it doesn't mean you should instantly buy it. You should try the free to play version first, and from that point, evaluate how you feel about putting your money into the game for future extra content and a smoother looking game.

Best game released in the past three years tbh.

 DAN IS THE BEST DEV BUT THAT'S A SECRET. DON'T TELL THE OTHERS OR THEY'LL BE JEALOUS.

If I'm honest, I didn't expect much from it.
I'm far from disliking it though.
But right now, the game feels really poorly optimized.
I know, I'm making this review on day 1 of the game. But constantly having the game randomly freeze every five or ten seconds, not long freezes, like, half a second, was just enough to make me not play the second episode until they release some patches.

Tossing all those aside, with what I saw in the first episode, I'm expecting a good plot. As always.

I found this game while randomly browsing Steam. When I bought it, I didn't expect much.
This game is a gem.
The story is great. The goal is simple, but the game is difficult.
The art is simple yet beautiful.
The soundtrack is just great.

This game is definitly worth your money.

First played this game on Xbox when I was 9. Then I bought it on PS3 when I was 11.
I had beaten Insane mode on PS3 at lvl 89.
Bought it one year ago.
Still playing today.
