from the tips of stems
to the grounds of roots,
to the hanging stars in heaven
my skeet will shoot..

rake in the atmosphere
breath in the dusk,
always leaving as i arrive
always skeeting as i nut

i will run away until there’s no more ground left to tread
i will shove it down until it squeezes out the back my head
i will display apathy until im bored
i will think until it’s thought
i will skeet until i nut
