DLC present interesting ideas and bad ones. Example being Midra who is essentially you if you have beaten the frenzied flame ending, Bayle a dragon who fought placidusax with remenants on his body detailing withoit you telling it.

I felt the game was unfinished. Abbysal woods is literally boring being only two sights to go to and nothing much to go back to return to.

The bosses presented in the DLC is mid overall:

Dancing Lion was nothing much than a horrible impressions compared to the other installments. You're mainly fighting the camera and took everything about phase 1 Nameless King.

Rellana boss fight although nicely done felt insignifcant despite being among the legends next to Rennala. No dialouge who I felt is suppose to be as important as the one who birthed three demi-gods.

Putrecesnt Knight is nothing but boring, take everything about Night Calvery but you're spending more time chasing then attacking but the design interesting, especially that horse physically attack you but aside from that it's a slog.

Romina is actually a fun mandatory fight before you burn the thorns, lore wise it's interesting to see she's the opposite side of the coin compared to Malenia who resists the rot. Her attacks are just about right to timely roll and the encounter can work with a low level Skadosh tree fragement.

Messmer, the Impaler. The best boss fight in the dlc and there isn't a contest. Take everything good about Malenia without the life-stealing mechanic, seeing him going Orchimaru in phase 2 is nothing but spectacle, a flaw that could've made this boss perfect is the camera against his cursed snakes.

Radahn. I felt like this boss was shoe horned last minute for the final boss in the dlc. Regarding unfinished from the beginning, there's cut content with him talking so he's nothing more than a mute. His phase 1 and theme is decent that the only thing that is such annoyance is his follow up to a cross slash you can't dodge consistently

Phase 2 is a waste of opportunuties that could've been in the game but regardless of the chances. This phase 2 is nothing more than diarrhea mirage and aoe is annoying and chore to go through. This is badly overtuned elden beast version of this boss. Rock sling following up with a flashing lights which is pretty much impossible to get out unscathed that felt like it came out of a Devil May Cry game.

Even all the effort, the ending is ass all that for a 30 second cutscene. What a waste. The DLC overall is a 7.5/10 and a generous at that, this should've been in the oven more.

Complete GOAT. GOTY 2023. 9/10. I recommend to go AFK on the main screen with the lights off. As long as a minute.

I hate this game with the passion, I lost in a fall guys bet because of this situation
